SINGAPORE – October 30, 2025 – SoftwareOne, a prominent global provider of cloud and software services, today announced a significant Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This multi-year partnership aims to propel digital transformation, enhance cloud adoption, and foster generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) innovation throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The collaboration is structured around four key strategic pillars: migration and modernization of existing systems, leveraging data and Gen AI capabilities, facilitating the launch of entirely new solutions on AWS (greenfield deployments), and bolstering AWS Marketplace enablement. SoftwareOne is committed to investing in AWS certifications to ensure its workforce across APAC is equipped with the latest expertise to support customers effectively.
Varun Paliwal, President APAC and Middle East of SoftwareOne, emphasized the importance of this agreement, stating, “This agreement marks a pivotal step in our mission to empower organizations across APAC to accelerate digital transformation using Gen AI. By combining SoftwareOne’s expertise with the comprehensive cloud services of AWS, we’re delivering tangible business outcomes and long-term value for our customers.”
Corrie Briscoe, Director of Partner Core, Asia Pacific & Japan, AWS, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the joint focus on responsible Gen AI adoption. “This collaboration with SoftwareOne demonstrates our joint focus on helping customers across APAC accelerate both cloud transformation and responsible generative AI adoption. By combining SoftwareOne’s deep regional expertise and trusted customer relationships with AWS’s breadth of services—including Amazon Bedrock—we’re creating practical pathways for organizations to modernize their operations, innovate with confidence, and scale solutions that drive measurable impact.”
Under the terms of the agreement, SoftwareOne will develop and deploy a diverse portfolio of Gen AI solutions, powered by Amazon Bedrock. These solutions will be specifically tailored for various industries, including retail, manufacturing, and financial services. To expedite the adoption process, SoftwareOne will offer pre-built, AWS-validated solution templates and implementation packages. These packages will feature AI assistants designed for specific industries and workloads, facilitating a quicker transition from pilot projects to full-scale production.
AWS will provide crucial technical assistance and collaborate closely with SoftwareOne teams through its Generative AI Innovation Centre (GenAIIC) Partner Alliance, which SoftwareOne has now joined. This alliance will grant SoftwareOne access to specialized training and resources to accelerate delivery.
Key AI Assistants slated for launch through this collaboration include:
Technician AI Assistant: Designed for factory troubleshooting and maintenance queries.
Insurance AI Assistant: Providing personalized plan recommendations and conducting sentiment analysis.
HR Policy Assistant: Automating employee inquiries and streamlining HR ticket creation.
Product Assistant: Enhancing intelligent product search, promotion discovery, and order management.
Furthermore, SoftwareOne will assist customers in migrating to AWS via its Rapid Migration Offer, establish new SoftwareOne AWS Landing Zones with integrated cloud security and governance, and list its solutions on AWS Marketplace to simplify procurement. The company also plans to invest in dedicated AWS-focused sales and marketing personnel across the APAC region to support customers throughout their cloud adoption journey.
