This collaboration aims to empower creators, professionals, and enterprises with next-generation AI-powered tools for richer image and video generation, alongside customized AI model development.
LOS ANGELES and SUNNYVALE, Calif. – October 28, 2025 – Today, at Adobe MAX, the world’s largest creativity conference, Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) and Google Cloud announced a significant expansion of their strategic partnership. This collaboration is set to deliver the next generation of AI-powered creative technologies, merging Adobe’s extensive creative expertise with Google’s cutting-edge AI models, including Gemini, Veo, and Imagen, to usher in a new era of creative expression.
This enhanced partnership will provide Adobe customers, encompassing business professionals, individual creators, creative professionals, and large enterprises, with direct access to Google’s latest AI models within popular Adobe applications such as Adobe Firefly, Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Premiere. Furthermore, enterprise clients will be able to leverage these advanced models through Adobe GenStudio and, in the future, utilize Adobe Firefly Foundry to customize and deploy brand-specific AI models capable of generating on-brand content at scale.
Shantanu Narayen, chair and chief executive officer of Adobe, emphasized the company’s leadership in fostering creativity in the AI era. “Our partnership with Google Cloud brings together Adobe’s creative DNA and Google’s AI models to empower creators and brands to push the boundaries of what’s possible—from Adobe Firefly and Creative Cloud to Adobe Firefly Foundry,” Narayen stated.
Echoing this sentiment, Thomas Kurian, chief executive officer of Google Cloud, added, “Adobe and Google Cloud share a vision to provide the creative community with the AI-powered tools that are advancing the industry.”
Key pillars of this expanded partnership include:
Integrated Access to Google’s AI Models: Adobe customers will gain seamless access to Google’s advanced AI models directly within Adobe’s creative suite, including Firefly, Express, Photoshop, and Premiere. This integration, also available via GenStudio, will enable the generation of richer images, higher-quality video, and more, with enhanced precision and control. This move reinforces Adobe’s partner model strategy, offering creators and enterprises flexibility and choice within Adobe’s trusted creative ecosystem.
Enterprise-Grade Model Customization: Adobe’s enterprise customers will have the capability to utilize Google’s AI models on Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform. This allows them to apply their proprietary data for customization through Adobe Firefly Foundry, facilitating the creation of brand-specific AI models that can generate high-quality, on-brand content at an unprecedented scale. Google has affirmed robust data commitments for its AI models on Vertex AI, ensuring that customer data will not be used to train the company’s foundational models.
Joint Go-to-Market Strategy: Adobe and Google Cloud are committed to a coordinated go-to-market approach to broaden access to these AI innovations globally. Through joint activities, the companies will demonstrate how their combined capabilities can significantly enhance creative output and deliver more impactful results for all customer segments.
