The funding round was spearheaded by prominent venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins. New investor NVentures, NVIDIA’s venture arm, also joined the round, alongside continued support from existing investors including Coatue, Latitude Capital, Madrona, GTM Capital, Menlo Ventures, and U First Capital. This Series A round follows a $23 million seed round secured just six months prior, bringing WisdomAI’s total capital raised to an impressive $73 million less than a year after its launch.
The influx of capital is earmarked to accelerate WisdomAI’s strategic push into autonomous analytics. Executives view this funding as a strong validation of the industry’s shift from static dashboards and traditional reporting to dynamic AI agents that can synthesize and act on data in real-time. The company aims to bridge the gap between data teams and business users, a friction point often created by decades of business intelligence tools that prioritized reporting over actionable decision support.
WisdomAI’s core offering revolves around its ‘AI Data Analysts’ – intelligent agents designed to reason across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. These agents deliver context-aware insights directly within common enterprise communication platforms such as email, Slack, and Salesforce. A key differentiator is the system’s ability to minimize Large Language Model (LLM) hallucinations by utilizing LLMs primarily for query generation, while leveraging a proprietary ‘enterprise context layer’ for robust data comprehension. This approach significantly reduces the dependency on manual SQL queries and one-off dashboard requests, empowering employees with immediate, relevant information.
The company, co-founded by Soham Mazumdar, a co-founder of Rubrik, has demonstrated remarkable growth since late 2024. Its enterprise customer base has expanded from just 2 to 40, including notable clients like Descope and Cisco. This growth is further underscored by increased client engagement, with some customers doubling their usage and others scaling their seat numbers from 10 to 450.
