Miracell, a prominent Korean stem cell research company, has introduced a groundbreaking generative AI voice consultation system, marking a significant advancement in healthcare automation within Korea. This innovative solution, developed in collaboration with Europe-based Vee, an AI company listed on the Warsaw stock exchange, is set to revolutionize how medical institutions interact with patients and manage operations. Miracell has secured exclusive distribution rights for Vee’s AI solution across Asia and is actively working with Vee Korea to tailor the system for local hospitals.
Unlike conventional rule-based automated response systems (ARS), this new AI tool leverages natural language processing to provide continuous, 24-hour conversational support. It is designed to handle a wide array of tasks, including appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, patient reminders, and general questions. The system is particularly beneficial during off-peak hours, such as nights and weekends, when staffing levels are typically limited. It seamlessly integrates with existing hospital customer relationship management (CRM) systems and supports both inbound and outbound calls.
To facilitate adoption, hospitals are offered a one-month free trial of the solution. Shin Hyun-soon, CEO of Miracell, emphasized the transformative potential of generative AI in healthcare, stating, “Generative AI can dramatically improve service quality in medical care. This isn’t just an upgrade — it’s a survival strategy for the health care sector.” Vee provides the core large language model (LLM) engine, which has been customized for the Korean language and clinical context.

A future iteration of the system will integrate with Miracell’s Celldoc platform, creating a unified interface for patient consultations, appointments, and treatment records. By combining its expertise in stem cell research with cutting-edge AI technology, Miracell aims to establish a new benchmark in the healthcare industry. A Miracell spokesperson noted, “We’re starting with clinics already using Smart-MCell. But this is just the beginning. With AI, we hope to bring patients and caregivers even closer, and open the door to a more responsive, intelligent health care experience.”
