TLDR: Leena AI has launched new voice-enabled AI “colleagues” designed to integrate seamlessly into enterprise environments, offering conversational support across various departments like IT, HR, finance, and sales. These agentic AI tools aim to enhance workplace efficiency and collaboration by allowing natural voice interactions, reducing reliance on traditional text-based systems, and guaranteeing a high self-service ratio for common employee queries.
Leena AI Inc., a prominent developer of employee-facing agentic artificial intelligence assistants, has unveiled its latest innovation: voice-enabled AI “colleagues” for enterprise use. Announced on July 24, 2025, these AI agents are designed to operate and interact within the workplace much like human employees, utilizing natural, conversational language for enhanced accessibility and efficiency.
Adit Jain, CEO and co-founder of Leena AI, highlighted the strategic shift towards voice communication, stating, “Org structures today have humans reporting to humans, but that’s changing to a place where you will have AI colleagues reporting to humans and AI collaborating with humans.” He emphasized that while the company initially focused on text-based AI, conversational voice communication represents the next frontier in work accessibility.
These AI colleagues are powered by agentic AI, enabling them to complete tasks with minimal human intervention once a goal is set. They are designed to seek employee approval before executing critical actions, ensuring a human-in-the-loop approach. The agents offer 24/7 availability and are equipped with full personas, including names, phone numbers, email IDs, and profiles on platforms like Slack and Teams. Jain noted, “Our AI colleagues get up at eight in the morning and they have a full persona: a name, phone number, email ID, Slack and Teams profiles. They’ll even ping you if they need anything.”
Leena AI’s solution integrates with over 1000 enterprise applications, including SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, ADP, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft Office 365. This extensive integration allows the AI colleagues to automate hundreds of use cases across IT, HR, finance, procurement, and sales departments. The company guarantees a 70% self-service ratio, significantly reducing helpdesk tickets. For instance, the EVA bot, powered by Leena AI, has reportedly addressed 99% of employee queries in real-time, reducing helpdesk ticket resolution time by 2.5 times and boosting user satisfaction to 96%.
The adoption of voice interaction with Leena AI’s platform is already substantial, with 35% of all interactions currently being voice-based, and an average session lasting seven and a half minutes. This demonstrates the growing preference for conversational interfaces in the workplace, allowing employees to get work done faster, even when on the go. For example, an employee could verbally instruct the AI to “open a lead for them in Salesforce, also get information from our tech team on the deep tech question that guy asked,” while driving or walking, eliminating the need for typing.
