TLDR: Lenovo has officially launched its Baiying Intelligent Agent 2.0, an L3-level AI service intelligent agent designed for small and medium-sized enterprises. This new version transitions the agent from a ‘responsive assistant’ to a ‘collaborative partner,’ leveraging an advanced Agentic solution for autonomous planning and problem-solving. The launch underscores Lenovo’s commitment to expanding its AI service offerings, building on the success of its predecessor which served over 100,000 enterprise customers.
Lenovo marked a significant milestone in its artificial intelligence strategy with the official launch of the Baiying Intelligent Agent 2.0 at the 36Kr 2025 AI Partner Conference for All Industries on August 27, 2025. The announcement was made by Wei Dong, General Manager of Lenovo China’s SME Solution and Service Division, who highlighted the agent’s transformative capabilities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Wei Dong stated, “Today, on this stage of 36Kr, we are launching Lenovo Baiying Intelligent Agent 2.0 – the industry’s first L3-level AI service intelligent agent for enterprises, marking the official upgrade of the intelligent agent from a ‘responsive assistant’ to a ‘collaborative partner’.” This upgrade signifies a shift towards more proactive and integrated AI assistance, aiming to deliver substantial productivity value to businesses.
The vision behind Lenovo Baiying Intelligent Agent 2.0 is ambitious: “to become the AI service choice for one million enterprises.” This goal builds upon the success of the initial Baiying AI service intelligent agent, which was launched on November 28 last year (likely 2024). The first version was designed to address end-to-end IT problems for enterprises, offering core capabilities in AI operation and maintenance, AI office, and AI marketing. It quickly gained traction, accumulating 400,000 registered users and serving over 100,000 enterprise customers prior to the 2.0 launch.
The enhanced capabilities of Baiying Intelligent Agent 2.0 are powered by a new Agentic solution, which reconstructs its technological architecture to achieve “autonomous planning, on-demand generation, and closed-loop problem solving.” Key technological highlights include advanced AI Perception and Planning, enabling the agent to support multi-modal inputs such as text, voice, and pictures. It can actively perceive device status or accurately understand user needs, subsequently planning and executing tasks autonomously.

This launch is part of Lenovo’s broader strategic push into the AI services market. In April 2025, Lenovo introduced three new AI service brands: Lenovo Qingtong for government and large enterprises, Lenovo Baiying for SMEs, and Xiangbangbang for consumers, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to capturing the AI service landscape. The company has also showcased other AI innovations, such as ‘Lenovo AI Now’ – a personal AI agent operating on devices, unveiled at MWC 2025 in March and CES 2025 in January, which leverages local Large Language Models (LLMs) like Meta’s Llama 3.0 for enhanced privacy and real-time intelligence. Lenovo’s commitment to agentic AI solutions emphasizes improving productivity by training intelligent AI agents to act on specific tasks, accelerating workflows, and freeing human resources for higher-value activities.
