TLDR: Kuvi.ai, a pioneer in Agentic Finance, has acquired Altura, a Web3 infrastructure platform, to integrate AI-enabled agents into blockchain gaming. This strategic move aims to revolutionize in-game asset management through automation and intelligent agents, with Altura evolving into a consumer-facing application for managing both Web2 and Web3 game assets. The acquisition also saw Kuvi.ai’s valuation double to $30 million.
TORONTO, CANADA – August 6, 2025 – Kuvi.ai, a leading platform in Agentic Finance, today announced its acquisition of Altura, a prominent Web3 infrastructure platform known for simplifying blockchain game development. This strategic move marks Kuvi.ai’s significant entry into the gaming vertical, expanding its mission to deploy intelligent, self-managing agents across the entire on-chain economy, including decentralized finance (DeFi), identity, and now, gaming.
Altura, with its robust technical foundation in NFT tooling and developer SDKs, built one of the earliest NFT infrastructure stacks for game developers. Its smart contract infrastructure, SDKs, and brand recognition are well-regarded within the blockchain gaming space, providing developers with essential tools to build, manage, and scale on-chain games.
The acquisition is set to lay the groundwork for the next evolution of in-game asset management, driven by AI agents and automation. Kuvi.ai aims to integrate Altura’s developer stack more deeply into its core agentic automation layer, enabling game assets to be managed, automated, and monetized using Kuvi’s agent platform.
Dylan Dewdney, co-founder and CEO of Kuvi.ai, stated, “Altura has everything we look for, passionate users, real tech, and a mission that aligns with where we’re going. We’re building the financial OS for the next generation, making it agent-powered, cross-chain, and user-owned. Altura’s NFT infrastructure and dev tooling are a perfect fit for enabling game assets to be managed, automated, and monetized using Kuvi’s agent platform.”
As part of the full acquisition, Kuvi.ai plans to stabilize Altura and rebuild trust within its community, with intentions to incubate a new consumer-facing application under the Altura brand. This app will enable users to manage in-game assets across both Web2 and Web3 games through a single interface. The ALU token will remain active and supported, with ALU holders gaining access to $KUVI rewards and freemium features on the Kuvi platform. The new Altura app will facilitate staking, leasing, trading, or collateralizing game assets via Kuvi agents.
This announcement follows Kuvi.ai’s recent private beta launch of its Agentic Finance Operating System (AF-OS), which allows users to automate blockchain-based financial actions using natural language instructions. The acquisition also provides Kuvi.ai with opportunities to revive or expand existing Altura partnerships, such as with Immutable, by offering early access to Kuvi’s upcoming consumer tools.

Financially, the acquisition comes on the heels of Kuvi.ai’s successful seed round, led by Moon Pursuit Capital, and the expansion of its oversubscribed strategic round, which includes notable investors like Michael Terpin of Transform Ventures and Web3 educator Dennis Liu (aka VirtualBacon). This has resulted in Kuvi.ai’s valuation doubling from $15 million to $30 million.
