TLDR: IFS has launched 10 agentic AI-driven Digital Workers with 50 skills, designed to autonomously manage complex operational tasks across various industrial sectors. These digital workers aim to enhance efficiency, provide immediate ROI, and free human teams for higher-value activities, with a roadmap to expand capabilities significantly by early 2026.
London, UK – October 14, 2025 – IFS, a prominent provider of Industrial AI software, has announced a significant advancement in operational technology with the introduction of its next-generation IFS Loops agent platform. This launch features 10 ‘Digital Workers’ equipped with 50 agentic skills, specifically engineered to streamline mission-critical workflows across a broad spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, energy, utilities, telecoms, construction, aerospace & defense, and service sectors.
These agentic AI Digital Workers are designed to autonomously manage high-volume operational tasks that traditionally consume considerable human effort. Key functions include field dispatch, supplier coordination, customer order management, and inventory replenishment. Unlike conventional automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or even standard Generative AI, IFS Loops Digital Workers are capable of managing complex workflows, making context-driven decisions, and continuously improving operational performance. They are intended to work collaboratively with human employees, reducing manual burdens and amplifying their impact, whether integrated within the IFS Cloud ecosystem or alongside existing legacy systems.
Somya Kapoor, CEO of IFS Loops, emphasized the urgency driving this innovation. “The pace of operational change is faster than ever, with complexity growing faster than human teams or legacy systems can handle,” Kapoor stated. “Operations leaders and CIOs can’t wait for months of IT rollout to benefit from new capabilities. IFS Loops gives companies a digital workforce they can deploy today, orchestrating complex industrial workflows reliably, securely, and contextually, allowing skilled teams to focus on higher-value tasks. For many, this is their first step into agentic AI and a natural entry point into the broader IFS Cloud ecosystem.”
The company highlights that these digital workers offer immediate return on investment (ROI) and tangible operational impact. IFS is committed to rapidly scaling these agentic AI capabilities, with a roadmap promising over 100 agentic skills by December 2025. Furthermore, the IFS Loops Studio, slated for release in Q1 2026, will empower customers to create and rapidly customize their own digital workers as specific needs arise, ensuring adaptability and future-proofing for evolving industrial challenges.
