Hightouch Secures Additional Funding from Snowflake Ventures and Capital One Ventures for Agentic AI Marketing Platform

TLDR: Hightouch, a data and AI agent platform for marketers, has received an additional $12 million investment from Snowflake Ventures and Capital One Ventures, extending its oversubscribed Series C round. This funding, part of an $80 million Series C that valued the company at $1.2 billion, will accelerate the development and market expansion of its ‘AI Decisioning’ platform, which uses AI agents for personalized, real-time marketing campaigns.

Hightouch, a prominent data and AI agent platform tailored for marketers, has announced a significant boost to its Series C funding round with an additional $12 million investment from Snowflake Ventures and Capital One Ventures. This latest infusion of capital extends an already oversubscribed Series C round, which now totals $80 million, valuing Hightouch at an impressive $1.2 billion and solidifying its ‘unicorn’ status. The investment highlights a strong belief in the transformative potential of agentic AI in the marketing technology landscape.

Cherry Miao, Hightouch’s CFO, confirmed that the $12 million in additional funding was recently secured. The company plans to strategically deploy these funds to bolster product development, enhance its core technology, and expand its sales team to meet growing market demand. Miao stated, “We plan on using the additional funds to invest in the product. We are seeing a ton of pull in the market. We will build out the technology and a sales team to bring it to market.”

At the heart of Hightouch’s offering is its ‘AI Decisioning’ product, introduced in 2024 as the world’s first agentic AI solution for lifecycle marketing. This platform empowers AI agents to continuously experiment with messaging, timing, and channel decisions, enabling highly personalized marketing to individual customers. Tejas Manohar, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Hightouch, emphasized the significance of this backing, remarking, “This investment is a major vote of confidence in our vision for AI-powered marketing. We’ve seen incredible traction with AI Decisioning, and this investment enables us to scale faster, deliver even more value to customers, and continue reimagining how businesses personalize experiences through data and AI.”

The AI Decisioning platform has already demonstrated remarkable success with a diverse client roster, including industry leaders such as PetSmart, WeightWatchers, DoorDash, WHOOP, Fundrise, and Cars.com. These companies leverage Hightouch’s technology for real-time personalization, driving advancements in data-driven, agentic AI solutions. Brian Kotlyar, Hightouch CMO, provided an illustrative example: “Email marketers working at PetSmart, for example, want to get the same consumers who have bought dog food for their dogs to come in and buy cat food for their cats. Getting consumers to change their behavior is the goal for the AI agent and campaign.” He further explained that marketers provide AI agents with permission and resources to utilize the best creative assets, and if the agents identify gaps, they will suggest new creative assets.

This innovative approach allows marketers to define a goal, such as “drive customers who buy in-store to download our app and order ahead,” and then observe as AI agents, using approved content, deliver tailored communications across various channels like email, push notifications, in-app messages, and advertising. The system continuously learns and adjusts decisions in real-time, reducing manual bottlenecks and dependency on traditional marketing clouds. WHOOP, a health monitoring fitness bracelet company, reported learning more in one month with Hightouch than in the entire preceding year of self-experimentation.

Adam Kaufman, Vice President, Global Head of Industry Go to Market at Snowflake, commented on the synergy: “Hightouch is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI in marketing for our joint customers. By building directly on top of Snowflake’s unified platform for data and AI, it enables marketers to execute faster, with less complexity and more control. We’re excited to support their continued growth and innovation in the AI Data Cloud.” Jon Barad, Partner at Capital One Ventures, echoed this sentiment, stating, “Hightouch built an innovative, composable approach to unifying data and streamlining workflows that unlocks AI-driven personalization. Our investment supports their mission to equip marketers with AI agents that help make campaigns more relevant and impactful.”

The underlying data for these AI agents is sourced from enterprise cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, Google Big Query, and Amazon Redshift, emphasizing a warehouse-native architecture. This strategic investment is poised to accelerate Hightouch’s research and development efforts, expanding its suite of AI agents to cover even more marketing use cases and fundamentally reshaping how businesses engage with their customers.
