TLDR: Adobe has launched a new suite of AI agents specifically designed to streamline complex B2B marketing and sales journeys. These agents leverage Adobe’s Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator to identify key decision-makers, automate multi-touch campaigns, and provide actionable insights, aiming to accelerate deal closures and enhance customer experience in the business-to-business sector.
Adobe has announced the general availability of a powerful new suite of AI agents aimed at transforming the often protracted and intricate landscape of business-to-business (B2B) marketing and sales. This strategic rollout, building on Adobe’s vision of agentic AI, is designed to empower marketing and sales teams to navigate long buying cycles, engage multiple stakeholders, and ultimately accelerate deal flow.
The core challenge these AI agents address is the inherent complexity of B2B purchasing decisions, which typically involve committees, fragmented engagement across various roles, and extended evaluation timelines. Unlike previous Adobe AI initiatives that focused on consumer journeys, this latest release is tailored specifically for the unique demands of the B2B market.
At the heart of this innovation is the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Agent Orchestrator, which facilitates multi-agent collaboration and intelligent reasoning. These new agents are seamlessly integrated into Adobe’s existing B2B solutions, including Journey Optimizer B2B Edition and Customer Journey Analytics B2B Edition, allowing teams to operationalize insights and build campaigns directly within their core tools.
Several specialized agents are now available to assist B2B teams:
Audience Agent: This agent aggregates structured and unstructured data, from CRM profiles to web behavior, to recommend ideal buying group members based on intent signals and persona fit. Its goal is to help marketers construct higher-quality audience segments for account-based or multichannel campaigns.
Journey Agent: Designed to automate the creation and optimization of customer journeys, this agent allows users to define a goal, after which it orchestrates multi-touch campaigns across various channels like email, web, and mobile. It also identifies points where buyers disengage or drop off, enabling continuous optimization.
Data Insights Agent: This tool provides cross-functional teams with a conversational interface to explore buying group and account-level analytics, fostering alignment between marketing, sales, and product teams on campaign effectiveness and areas for improvement.
Looking ahead, Adobe is also preparing to launch additional agents, including the Account Qualification Agent for Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition, which will assist business development representatives (BDRs) in rapidly assessing prospect needs, budget, authority, and timeline to qualify sales opportunities. Another forthcoming AI-first application is Brand Concierge.
Leading B2B brands are already leveraging Adobe’s agentic AI offerings. Brett Rafuse, Vice President of Demand Marketing at Cisco, commented on their experience: “We have been longtime users of Adobe Experience Cloud, where applications such as Journey Optimizer B2B Edition are enabling us to personalize customer experiences and drive pipeline for the business. Adobe’s AI agents will be another unlock for our organization. By shortening the time it takes to identify key decision makers and orchestrate compelling cross-channel journeys, we can boost account engagement and accelerate deal closure.”
