PAN India, July 31, 2025 – In a strategic move to address the escalating demand for AI proficiency in the Indian workforce, Masai, a prominent job-tech institute, has officially announced a collaboration with BITS School of Management (BITSoM). This partnership marks the launch of two specialized, six-month, weekend-only, part-time programs: ‘Product Management with Agentic AI’ and ‘Business Analytics & Decision Making with Generative AI’. These initiatives are meticulously designed to integrate the transformative capabilities of AI with practical product and business acumen, ensuring professionals are well-prepared for the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
India faces a substantial skill deficit, with projections indicating that between 80 to 90 million workers will require upskilling by 2030 to meet the demands of a dynamic economy. As AI continues to revolutionize various sectors, including healthcare, finance, retail, and manufacturing, AI literacy has become a fundamental requirement for future employability. Professionals adept at leveraging Generative and Agentic AI tools will be better positioned to foster innovation, enhance decision-making processes, and generate significant value within their organizations.
Prateek Shukla, Co-founder and CEO of Masai, emphasized the critical nature of this collaboration, stating, “With Generative AI and Agentic AI redefining how products are built and decisions are made, future leaders must be fluent in both technology and business strategy. The programs are tailored for a diverse audience, including students, working professionals, early-stage product managers, business analysts, and career-switchers aspiring to build AI-integrated products and spearhead innovation. Certified by BITSoM, these courses are developed by top industry practitioners and faculty, ensuring a blend of academic rigor and real-world applicability.
Key features of the programs include learning from BITSoM faculty and industry experts, hands-on experience in building AI products using over 10 industry-leading tools (such as RepIt, Cursor AI, and Lovable), personalized feedback, access to a vibrant peer community, and one-on-one mentorship. Participants will also receive career guidance and assistance in building a portfolio of AI-driven products to showcase to recruiters. The ‘Product Management with Agentic AI’ program, for instance, will cover topics like Product Management Foundations & Discovery, Agile methodologies, Generative AI Tools and Product Integration, Building with Agentic Systems, and Strategy, Monetization, and Responsible AI.
As part of the program launch, BITSoM hosted a Faculty Symposium on July 26, 2025, at the Centre for Executive and Professional Development (CEPD) in Hiranandani Knowledge Park, Powai, Mumbai. The symposium, themed “Launch of Online Certificate Programmes by BITSoM CEPD in Partnership with Masai School,” facilitated deep academic exchange and strategic collaboration among faculty, academic leaders, and EdTech professionals.

Each cohort for these six-month online programs will have 250 available seats, requiring a time commitment of 8-10 hours per week. The ‘Product Management with Generative & Agentic AI’ program has a qualifier test date of August 3, 2025, while the ‘Certification Program in Business Analytics with Gen & Agentic AI’ is set to begin on August 30, 2025.
