TLDR: IIT Roorkee, in collaboration with Futurense, has launched India’s first full-stack, no-code AI marketing certification program. This six-month postgraduate certificate, starting October 11, 2025, aims to equip marketing professionals with advanced AI-driven skills to address the growing demand for integrated, real-time marketing solutions and bridge the “orchestration gap” in the industry.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, in a significant move to advance digital marketing education, has partnered with edtech company Futurense to introduce a postgraduate certificate program in AI-enabled digital marketing and MarTech. This program, launched on July 30, 2025, is touted as India’s first full-stack, no-code artificial intelligence (AI) marketing certification specifically designed for working professionals in marketing and digital media.
The six-month course is scheduled to commence on October 11, 2025, and will be delivered in a weekend-only online format. Participants will also have the option of a two-day campus immersion experience at IIT Roorkee. Upon successful completion, learners will receive a joint certificate from IIT Roorkee and Futurense.
According to IIT Roorkee, the curriculum was developed in response to evolving industry trends, particularly the widespread adoption of generative AI tools in marketing workflows and the increasing need for integrated, real-time marketing solutions. Data cited by the institute indicates that while over 88% of marketers regularly use GenAI tools, fewer than 10% apply them across the entire marketing funnel.
Prof. Kaushik Ghosh, Coordinator, Continuing Education Centre (CEC), IIT Roorkee, emphasized the program’s mission: “Our mission is to create future-ready professionals by blending academic rigour with practical innovation. This program exemplifies that vision. As marketing becomes increasingly driven by AI and real-time orchestration, professionals need more than surface-level tool knowledge; they need a deep, system-level understanding. Through this certification, we’re enabling learners to build marketing engines that are intelligent, adaptive, and grounded in real-world applications.”
Raghav Gupta, Founder & CEO, Futurense, added, “This isn’t just another marketing course with AI added on. It’s India’s first full-stack AI marketing certification built from the ground up for today’s ecosystem, where growth depends on how well you wire content, data, automation, and personalisation together. With IIT Roorkee’s academic credibility and Futurense’s industry-backed learning model, this program creates marketers who can think like builders and execute like technologists.”
The program aims to equip marketing professionals with the ability to design and integrate AI-driven systems, including CRM (Customer Relationship Management), analytics tools, marketing automation platforms, and content generation tools. The comprehensive curriculum includes hands-on training with over 30 tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Segment, HubSpot, Canva AI, Google Analytics 4, and Looker Studio.
Participants will engage in live AI clinics, responding to real brand briefs and receiving mentorship from industry experts. A final capstone project will involve building AI-powered marketing campaigns, which learners can host in their portfolios to demonstrate their skills in content generation, funnel automation, and performance attribution. No prior coding experience is required, as a pre-course foundation module will cover prompt engineering, no-code workflows, and AI integration tools.

The course addresses the “orchestration gap” in marketing, where professionals often use numerous tools without a unified framework for real-time performance. It aims to transform marketers into “system thinkers” capable of executing cross-platform AI-powered campaigns, a skill set in high demand with job roles like AI content strategist and MarTech architect reportedly seeing annual growth rates between 15–22%.
