Xelix Secures $160 Million Series B to Propel Agentic AI in Accounts Payable

TLDR: Xelix, a London-based agentic AI software company, has successfully closed a $160 million Series B funding round. Led by Insight Partners with participation from Passion Capital and LocalGlobe, this significant investment will accelerate the development of Xelix’s AI-powered platform, enabling more organizations to transform their Accounts Payable operations from manual processes into strategic, data-driven functions. The company’s solutions help detect errors, prevent fraud, and automate reconciliation for over 130 global customers.

London, UK – July 21, 2025 – Xelix, a pioneering agentic AI software company specializing in Accounts Payable (AP) solutions, today announced the successful completion of a $160 million Series B funding round. The round was spearheaded by global software investor Insight Partners, with continued support from existing investors Passion Capital and LocalGlobe.

This substantial capital injection is earmarked to significantly accelerate Xelix’s platform development and expand its market presence, enabling more organizations to integrate advanced AI into their finance operations. Paul Roiter, CEO of Xelix, emphasized the strategic importance of this funding, stating, “This funding marks a major milestone in our journey. It allows us to accelerate product innovation, expand our market presence and reinforce our position as a category leader – enabling more finance teams to evolve Accounts Payable from a manual back-office function into a strategic, data-driven business partner.”

Xelix’s AI-powered platform is designed to seamlessly integrate with existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and finance systems. Its core functionalities include detecting payment errors and fraud, automating supplier statement reconciliations, and streamlining AP Helpdesk operations. For too long, companies have grappled with manual processes and basic systems in managing Accounts Payable and vendor risk, leading to millions in annual losses due to overpayments, increased fraud risks, and inefficient manual workflows. Xelix’s solution directly addresses these challenges, transforming costly, manual AP processes into automated, intelligent workflows.

The company has demonstrated significant, capital-efficient growth, particularly following the 2024 launch of its Helpdesk module, an agentic AP ticketing tool designed to manage high volumes of supplier queries. Currently, the Xelix platform offers three core solutions, processing over 115 million invoices annually and auditing more than $750 billion in spend across its impressive roster of over 130 global customers. Notable clients include enterprise organizations such as AstraZeneca, BAT, GSK, and Virgin Atlantic, who have reportedly achieved millions in cost savings and operational transformation through Xelix’s offerings.

As part of the investment, Ryan Hinkle, Managing Director, and Alessandro Luciano, Vice President, both from Insight Partners, will join Xelix’s board of directors, bringing valuable expertise to guide the company’s future trajectory.
