TLDR: Infibeam Avenues has announced a remarkable 93% year-on-year revenue increase to Rs 1,965 crore in Q2 FY26, driven by surging payments volume. The company is undergoing a significant restructuring, divesting its e-commerce marketplace to subsidiary Rediff.com and investing Rs 100 crore into AI development. This strategic shift positions Infibeam to focus on AI-led digital payment transformation, including the launch of India’s first agentic payments platform, PayCentral.AI, and plans for a Global Agentic AI Marketplace.
Gandhinagar, India – Infibeam Avenues Ltd, a prominent fintech company, has reported an impressive 93% year-on-year surge in gross revenue, reaching Rs 1,965 crore for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Q2 FY26) ending September 30, 2025. This robust financial performance, primarily fueled by escalating payments volume, underscores the company’s successful strategic transition towards a fintech and AI-focused business model.
Despite the significant revenue growth, profit before exceptional items increased at a slower pace of 51.2% to Rs 95.36 crore, as operating costs more than doubled to Rs 1,811.8 crore from Rs 882 crore in the previous year. Total expenses climbed 97.5% to Rs 1,890.61 crore, impacting operating leverage. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 50.9% to Rs 66.52 crore. The company’s Total Payment Volume (TPV) saw a 33% year-on-year increase, hitting 1172 billion payment processing transactions.
Chairman and Managing Director Vishal Mehta attributed these gains directly to the company’s ‘AI-led digital payment transformation.’ Mehta stated, ‘The sharp rise in TPV and revenue underscores the growing trust our merchants and partners place in our platforms. Our diversified digital offerings and focus on profitability position us well to cross the $1 billion revenue mark on a run-rate basis.’
A key aspect of Infibeam’s strategy involves a comprehensive restructuring. The company has hived off its entire Platform Business Undertaking, including its e-commerce marketplace and related technology units, into its subsidiary, Rediff.com India, through a slump sale. This move has increased Infibeam’s stake in Rediff to 82.66% and allows the parent company to sharpen its focus on financial technology and AI-driven payments. Infibeam Projects Management, its backend platform-tech and project execution arm, has also been transferred to Rediff, becoming a step-down subsidiary.
Further solidifying its commitment to advanced technology, Infibeam has deployed Rs 100 crore from a recent rights issue into AI development. Specifically, Rs 100.4 crore was allocated to its AI and advanced technology subsidiary, Nueromind, for cutting-edge AI initiatives. These include the development of a new agentic payments platform designed to enable AI agents to transact autonomously. The company has already launched PayCentral.AI, touted as India’s first agentic payments platform, and is planning a ‘first-of-its-kind’ Global Agentic AI Marketplace in Mumbai. This marketplace aims to facilitate developers, enterprises, and individuals in building, buying, selling, and operating AI agents as functional digital co-workers. Infibeam is also exploring AI-driven data centers, with plans for 12 small-city facilities of 1–2 MW each to support large-scale AI adoption.

In addition to its AI push, Infibeam secured in-principle approvals from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for a Prepaid Payment Instrument license and from the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) to operate as a Payment Service Provider at GIFT-IFSC. The company successfully raised Rs 700 crore through a rights issue, which was oversubscribed by 1.4 times. Its payments platform, CCAvenue, continues to expand rapidly, adding over 2,000 merchants daily. Infibeam also has ambitious international expansion plans, targeting Saudi Arabia in FY26 and Australia and the United States by FY27.
