Zigment Pioneers Agentic AI for Enhanced Sales Conversion and Customer Engagement

TLDR: Bengaluru-based AI startup Zigment is transforming how businesses convert leads into sales by leveraging agentic AI. Its platform automates personalized, omnichannel customer engagement across various communication channels, significantly improving conversion rates and streamlining sales workflows.

Bengaluru-based AI startup Zigment is at the forefront of revolutionizing sales conversion and customer engagement through its innovative application of agentic AI. Founded by Dikshant Dave and Karma Pandya in 2023, Zigment addresses the critical challenge of low lead conversion rates that many businesses face, a problem Dave personally encountered in a previous venture, One Balance. His experience revealed that personalized human interaction significantly boosted sales, leading to the inception of Zigment to scale this effect using artificial intelligence.

Zigment’s core offering is its ‘Conversation Graph,’ a sophisticated system that meticulously tracks every message, click, and call in a unified, searchable timeline. This allows the AI agents to understand user mood and intent, detect urgency or hesitation, and autonomously initiate the next appropriate steps, such as sending a brochure or scheduling a demo. As CEO Dikshant Dave explains, “We’re not just building chatbots; our agents orchestrate actions across systems.” This orchestration is powered by agentic AI, where multiple specialized AI agents collaborate seamlessly to manage different functions and drive the conversation forward, much like a skilled human salesperson. For instance, if a lead becomes inactive in a CRM, another agent might automatically follow up via WhatsApp. Zigment’s proprietary technology lies in coordinating these agents and selecting the optimal large language model (LLM) for each specific task.

The platform provides omnichannel engagement, operating across a wide array of channels including WhatsApp, calls, emails, websites, Instagram, Facebook DMs, and SMS. This comprehensive approach tackles three major pain points for businesses: fragmented customer engagement, manual workflows, and disconnected data. By centralizing the entire lead lifecycle, Zigment ensures that no prospective buyer is overlooked, providing a personalized, high-touch experience that adapts to the individual’s journey.

Zigment has demonstrated significant impact for its clients. Success stories include a reported ‘almost 40% uplift in onboarding conversions’ with ‘almost 70% lesser human effort.’ Furthermore, the platform has improved marketing conversion by 38% and lead qualification by nearly 90%, with engagement across more than 10 languages. The startup serves over 30 B2B clients, including prominent names like Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Dr. Batra’s, and the US-based nonprofit Give.org. Zigment has also forged partnerships with Meta and Google, facilitating seamless integration for its clients.

Operating on a SaaS pricing model, Zigment charges clients a fixed monthly platform fee, which ranges from approximately Rs 75,000 to Rs 10 lakh, depending on the complexity and volume of conversations. Dave notes, “Some businesses handle 10,000 leads a month, others deal with a lakh. Our pricing adjusts accordingly.”

While the company’s agents already handle phone audio conversations and trigger real-time backend automations, Zigment is preparing for a wider deployment of its voice features. Addressing the competitive landscape, Dave acknowledges both new entrants like Decagon, Sierra, and Lindy, as well as established players such as Salesforce and HubSpot, who are integrating AI features. However, Dave asserts Zigment’s unique position: “Our AI isn’t an add-on. It’s the foundation. We’re creating a new category—agentic AI for customer journeys. And we’re building the platform to lead it.” The primary challenge for Zigment has been effectively communicating the product’s value and demonstrating how this new technology solves tangible business problems without disrupting existing operations.
