The prestigious event, themed ‘AI for All’, will be held at Shahid Beheshti University, as reported by Mehr news agency. This conference is designed to be a pivotal platform for sharing the latest innovations, cutting-edge research, and significant scientific achievements within the artificial intelligence sector. It will convene a diverse group of participants, including domestic and foreign students, experts, and researchers, fostering a collaborative environment.
A primary objective of ICAI 2026 is to enhance synergy among industry leaders, academic institutions, and decision-making organizations. Iran has demonstrated significant progress in the field of Artificial Intelligence. According to Hossein Afshin, an official with the vice-presidency of science and technology, the country’s ranking in scientific production in AI has improved from 33 to 30, positioning Iran among the top 50 global leaders in the field. Furthermore, the Nature Index indicates that Iran’s best ranking is in the Data and Infrastructure pillar, achieving a score of 66.29, which marks a notable improvement from 55.88 in the previous year.
