TLDR: Sweet Security, a cloud security startup, has successfully raised $75 million in new funding, bringing its total capital to $120 million. This investment will fuel global expansion and product innovation, particularly enhancing its AI security capabilities to protect models, agents, and the entire AI lifecycle within cloud environments.
Sweet Security Ltd., a prominent cloud security startup, announced today a significant funding round, securing $75 million to propel its global expansion and accelerate product innovation. This latest investment elevates the company’s total funding to $120 million, following a previous $33 million raise in March 2024. The capital infusion is earmarked to meet the escalating enterprise demand for its advanced security offerings, particularly in the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence.
Founded in 2022, Sweet Security has distinguished itself by offering a platform designed to empower security teams in neutralizing cloud attacks directly within runtime environments. Unlike conventional security tools that often rely on static configurations or periodic scans, Sweet Security’s platform detects and blocks threats as they unfold, minimizing business disruption. The core of its technology lies in combining real-time runtime visibility with sophisticated AI intelligence, providing proactive protection against complex and fast-evolving cyber threats. The platform integrates deep behavioral analytics, identity threat detection, and application programming interface (API) protection into a unified solution.
In a strategic move to address emerging risks, Sweet Security has also expanded its focus into the AI security market. The company introduced new artificial intelligence security capabilities aimed at safeguarding generative and agentic AI systems. Its new AI Security Platform (AISP) offers AI teams the critical ability to discover every model and agent, comprehend their interactions, and identify misconfigurations or over-permissioned access before they can be exploited. The AISP is engineered to map interactions between AI components, detect vulnerabilities, and halt threats such as prompt injection attacks or rogue AI behavior in real-time.
Richard Seewald, founder and managing partner at Evolution Equity Partners, commented on the investment, stating, “Sweet Security stands out in one of the most competitive segments of cybersecurity. The company’s ability to combine real-time cloud protection with AI-powered intelligence is unlike anything else in the market, redefining how enterprises secure the modern cloud and go about securing their AI environments.”

Dror Kashti, co-founder and Chief Executive of Sweet Security, emphasized the dynamic nature of modern threats: “Cloud attacks no longer follow predictable patterns — they evolve dynamically, just like the AI systems enterprises are now building. Protecting those environments demands real-time understanding of how models, agents and workloads behave — not static snapshots of configurations.” By extending its runtime protection principles to AI, Sweet Security aims to enable organizations to deploy and operate AI systems that are inherently secure and high-performing by design.
