SS&C Technologies Unveils AI Agent Catalogue to Revolutionize Financial and Healthcare Operations

TLDR: SS&C Technologies has launched an AI Agent Catalogue designed to automate and streamline complex tasks within the financial services and healthcare industries. These prebuilt, outcome-focused AI agents, built on the SS&C AI Gateway, aim to enhance operational efficiency, address talent shortages, and ensure secure, compliant automation. American Life & Security Corp. is an early adopter, utilizing an agent to significantly reduce credit agreement processing times.

WINDSOR, Conn. – SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC), a global provider of services and software for the financial services and healthcare industries, announced on October 28, 2025, the launch of its innovative AI Agent Catalogue. This new offering is specifically designed to simplify and automate complex operational workflows for firms in both sectors, addressing critical challenges such as talent shortages and operational bottlenecks.

The catalogue features a suite of proven, prebuilt AI agents, developed with a ‘governance-first’ approach. These agents are engineered to tackle a variety of intricate tasks, including credit processing, contract validation, trade reconciliation, invoice processing, and customer communications. Delivered as a managed service, the solution aims to enable organizations to achieve secure and scalable automation.

One of the first customers to evaluate an SS&C AI Agent is American Life & Security Corp., a rapidly expanding carrier in the annuity and retirement space based in Lincoln, Nebraska. American Life is leveraging SS&C’s Credit Agreement Document Agent to streamline its private credit operations. This AI agent continuously reviews and updates lengthy loan documents, a process that traditionally consumed significant manual effort and was prone to errors. SS&C reported a substantial reduction in credit processing times within its own internal operations by utilizing this technology.

Georgette Nicholas, CEO of American Life, commented on the adoption, stating, “SS&C’s AI agent offering stood out due to its successful implementation within the firm’s own operations. The ability to update credit agreements almost in real time will be transformative, allowing our team to focus on higher-value work instead of manual upkeep. This adoption reinforces our commitment to advancing innovation within the annuity and retirement sector.”

The AI agents are built upon the SS&C AI Gateway, the company’s enterprise-grade AI governance platform. This platform ensures secure, auditable, and compliant access to large language models (LLMs), incorporating real-time guardrails for advanced security, data loss protection, real-time risk monitoring, and explainability of actions. Each agent undergoes rigorous development, testing, and deployment within SS&C’s own operations before being released to customers, guaranteeing proven performance, compliance, and measurable return on investment.

Rob Stone, General Manager, Intelligent Automation & Analytics at SS&C, emphasized the company’s commitment: “Intelligent automation and AI have been transformation enablers for our organization, introducing new levels of business and revenue growth at speed and scale. With this offering, we are aiming to enable our customers to realize value from agentic AI safely, securely, and quickly.”
