(Nasdaq: SOUN), a global leader in voice and conversational artificial intelligence, today announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2025, reporting a record revenue of $42.0 million. This represents a substantial 68% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Keyvan Mohajer, CEO and Co-Founder of SoundHound AI, emphasized the company’s strategic positioning amidst a surge in enterprise AI adoption. “Enterprise AI adoption is booming globally, and SoundHound is strengthening its leading position with deployments in millions of end points across highly diversified industries and customers,” said Mohajer. He added, “We see enormous potential in the near and long-term horizon, and we’re positioning our business to take full advantage.”
Financially, the company reported a GAAP gross margin of 42.6% and a non-GAAP gross margin of 59.3%. While GAAP net loss was ($109.3) million, the non-GAAP net loss stood at ($13.0) million. Adjusted EBITDA was a loss of ($14.5) million. The company’s balance sheet remains robust with $269 million in cash and cash equivalents as of September 30, 2025, and no debt.

Agentic AI: The Amelia 7.3 update is a cornerstone, integrating Speech-to-Meaning® technology to achieve industry-leading latency and more natural voice interactions. This enhances the platform’s ‘Agentic+’ framework, which combines generative AI, multi-agent autonomous orchestration, and deterministic models.
Retail and Consumer Goods: SoundHound AI secured a new upsell with a major multinational brand in food, beverage, and consumer goods. The company also initiated a new partnership with a rapidly growing global health club in the United States to deploy Smart Answering, and signed a deal to launch Smart Answering at a U.S.-based global franchise specializing in elite athlete training facilities.
Voice Commerce: In-vehicle monetization now includes restaurant reservations and parking payments, with global OEMs expected to launch in 2026. Tech platform giants are also preparing to deploy voice ordering capabilities to millions of users.
IoT and Robotics: SoundHound secured a significant deal to integrate SoundHound Chat AI into a minimum commitment of double-digit millions of AI-enabled smart devices with a large China-based company.
Automotive: Collaborations include launching a custom ‘personality’ for a major globally renowned sports car brand’s assistant, deploying flagship Chat AI in Jeep vehicles across Europe, expanding with EV automaker Togg in Germany, and integrating voice AI with an Italian commercial vehicle company and two prominent two-wheeler brands in India.
Financial Services: Three of the top 10 global financial services institutions expanded their enterprise services, and two renewed contracts. A new enterprise technology deal was also signed with an organization supporting U.S. credit unions.
Healthcare: The company is working with a large precision medicine provider on an inbound and outbound agentic AI solution, deploying the Amelia platform with a U.S.-based regional hospital system, and renewed a contract with a leading healthcare company for wholesale medical supplies.
Restaurants: New deployments include AI ordering solutions with a nationally recognized full-service restaurant chain, franchise wins with Firehouse Subs, Five Guys, and McAllister’s Deli, and full deployment of voice solutions across MOD Pizza, Habit Burger, Red Lobster, Torchy’s Tacos, Chipotle, and Casey’s. Peet’s Coffee also expanded its use of SoundHound’s Employee Assist technology to all company-owned locations.
