Austin, TX – Overhaul, a pioneer in real-time supply chain risk management and visibility solutions, announced today the successful close of a $105 million Series C equity funding round. The substantial investment was led by Springcoast Partners, a New York-based growth equity firm, with additional participation from existing investor Edison Partners and Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s 1GT climate private equity strategy. Complementing the equity raise, Overhaul also secured a new debt facility with MidCap Financial.
Founded in 2016, Overhaul has established itself as a critical player in safeguarding global supply chains, offering an IoT-enabled software platform that provides real-time cargo tracking, threat detection, and proactive protection for high-value assets. The company’s technology is instrumental in shielding shippers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) from in-transit delays, damage, theft, and spoilage. Overhaul currently protects an impressive $1.4 trillion in cargo trade at any given moment, boasting a remarkable 99.9% shipment protection rate.
According to Barry Conlon, CEO of Overhaul, the new capital infusion will be pivotal in accelerating the company’s mission. “Expanding our relationships with Springcoast and Edison allows us to build on the momentum we’ve already created and deliver the solutions our customers are asking for,” Conlon stated. He further emphasized the company’s unique approach, asserting, “The truth is, visibility is a data stream – not a standalone solution or app – and how we harness that stream is what truly sets us apart. Our engineering and development efforts are focused on solving real-world problems, and this investment helps us accelerate that mission.”
The funds are earmarked for several key strategic initiatives, including accelerating platform innovation, significantly strengthening its AI-driven capabilities, and pursuing strategic acquisitions. This follows Overhaul’s recent acquisition of FreightVerify, which brought item-level tracking and inventory intelligence to its portfolio, illustrating a clear strategy to consolidate supply chain technology and expand into broader enterprise-level solutions. The investment will also support global expansion efforts.
Holger Staude, Managing Partner of Springcoast Partners, expressed confidence in Overhaul’s trajectory, noting, “Overhaul is building the system of record for global, high-value supply chains. The company’s proprietary data assets, operational depth, and commitment to solving real-world logistics challenges set it apart in a consolidating market.” Chris Dederick, Principal at Springcoast Partners, added, “We’re proud to deepen our partnership with Barry and the Overhaul team as they complement their market-leading cargo security capabilities with powerful new inventory optimization tools.”
