Founded by design veterans from Apple, DoorDash, Nike, Netflix, and Instagram, the company aims to transform how businesses produce on-brand content at speed and scale using advanced AI image and video generation capabilities. The new capital will fuel product development, market expansion, and deeper integrations with existing design and marketing tools.

SAN FRANCISCO – November 13, 2025 – Obello, an innovative AI graphic design platform, today announced it has secured $8.5 million in seed funding, bringing its total funding to $9.5 million. This significant investment is set to transform how major brands, including eBay and Ritual, scale their creative output in the rapidly evolving age of artificial intelligence.

The funding round was led by Obvious Ventures, with continued participation from early backer Baukunst, alongside AVV and Preview Ventures. The capital infusion will be strategically deployed to accelerate Obello’s product development, bolster its go-to-market efforts, and expand its customer base across mid-market and enterprise brands.

Founded by Ben Pham and Ollie Ralph, a dynamic creative duo renowned for building and selling the acclaimed brand and design agency Character to Dentsu, Obello emerged from decades of experience shaping some of the world’s most recognizable brands, such as Apple, DoorDash, Nike, Netflix, and Instagram. Their firsthand experience revealed the increasing challenges brands face in a fast-paced, digital-first landscape, where the demand for on-brand content across numerous channels and platforms is higher than ever.

Obello’s platform is designed to address this critical need by enabling teams to produce always-on-brand creative at unprecedented speed and scale. A key focus of the new funding will be the rollout of enhanced AI image and video generation features, allowing brands to instantly render on-brand creative with a single prompt. The company also plans to deepen integrations with leading design and marketing tools.

Early adopters of Obello’s technology include a diverse range of mid-sized enterprise brands such as eBay, REI, ZenBusiness, OSEA, Ritual, Whisker, Fetch, Stasher, Thistle, Output, and Qonta. The company also has plans to expand its reach into creative agencies.
