NLU Jodhpur to Host 3rd Annual Corporate Law Review Summit in Collaboration with Trilegal, Focusing on Emerging Legal Frontiers

TLDR: National Law University (NLU) Jodhpur, in partnership with Trilegal, is set to host its 3rd NLUJ-Trilegal Corporate Law Review Summit on November 8-9, 2025. This flagship academic event will bring together legal professionals, scholars, and students to discuss contemporary developments in corporate and commercial laws, with a significant focus on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on corporate governance, ESG, and board accountability.

National Law University (NLU) Jodhpur, a prominent institution in legal education, is gearing up to host its 3rd NLUJ-Trilegal Corporate Law Review Summit on November 8th and 9th, 2025. This two-day event, organized in collaboration with leading full-service law firm Trilegal, is a cornerstone academic initiative aimed at fostering dialogue and research on the evolving landscape of corporate and commercial laws in India.

The Summit will take place in an offline mode at the NLU Jodhpur campus. It serves as a crucial platform for legal professionals, academicians, researchers, and students from across the country to converge and deliberate on cutting-edge issues shaping the corporate world. The event is proudly sponsored by Trilegal and held in collaboration with SCC OnLine and SCC Times.

Key segments of the Summit include:

Panel Discussions: Featuring eminent legal experts and thought leaders who will engage in dialogues on contemporary and critical issues in corporate and commercial law.

Paper Presentations: Providing a robust platform for scholars, practitioners, and students to present their original research and insights on recent developments and challenges within the field.

The overarching theme for this year’s Summit is ‘Evolving Paradigms in Corporate Governance: Navigating AI, ESG, and Board Accountability in the Digital Era.’ This theme underscores the event’s commitment to addressing the most pressing and transformative aspects of modern corporate law. Other significant themes and sub-themes cover areas such as Banking & Finance, Insolvency Law, Investment Law and Foreign Investment, Securities Law, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Project Finance, Corporate Social Responsibility & Climate Change, ESG and Fintech, Digital Lending, Cross-Border Mergers, and Boardroom Diversity and Inclusion.

Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, the Honourable Vice Chancellor of NLUJ, serves as the Patron-in-Chief, recognized for her scholarly excellence and visionary guidance in legal education. Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Hon’ble Dean (Academics) and Associate Professor at NLUJ, is the Chief Editor.

Participants are encouraged to submit original, high-quality research. The deadline for paper submissions is September 6, 2025, with shortlisted authors to be intimated by October 20, 2025. Registration fees apply only to selected authors, covering accommodation and meals. The Summit offers attractive awards, including cash prizes of INR 35,000 for the winner, INR 25,000 for the first runner-up, and INR 15,000 for the second runner-up, along with internship opportunities at Trilegal for the top two positions. The top six entries will also be published in Volume VII, Issue 2 of the Journal on Corporate Law and Governance (JCLG).
