Menlo Security, a pioneer in browser security, has announced the appointment of Ramin Farassat as its new Chief Product Officer. The executive search was successfully conducted by SPMB Executive Search, with Sean Lucq from SPMB’s engineering and product practice leading the recruitment efforts. The appointment, effective as of July 28, 2025, marks a significant expansion of Menlo Security’s C-Suite, aiming to accelerate innovation in browser security.

Farassat brings an impressive background of over two decades in product and strategy leadership within the enterprise SaaS and cybersecurity sectors. He is widely recognized for his ability to scale platforms, drive AI-led innovation, and cultivate high-performing teams. His career highlights include launching more than 40 products, which contributed to a threefold revenue growth, margin expansion, and category leadership, often through product-led growth (PLG) strategies.

His deep expertise in generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and data security will be crucial in shaping the product vision at a pivotal time for cybersecurity. He aims to enhance Menlo Security’s browser security solutions, protecting the browser as the primary gateway to the modern enterprise, while ensuring seamless performance and user experience.

Bill Robbins, President of Menlo Security, expressed his enthusiasm for the appointment, stating, “Ramin’s deep commitment to innovation and his passion for building high-performing teams make him exceptionally well-suited to lead Menlo Security’s mission of fundamentally shifting how organizations secure users and data in today’s modern workspace. Menlo Security’s industry-leading approach allows organizations to proactively protect users without compromising performance or user experience. I’m eager to work with this talented team to accelerate innovation and help enterprises stay ahead of today’s most sophisticated threats.”

Prior to joining Menlo Security, Farassat served as CPO at Selcore, a company specializing in data security solutions, where he led platform modernization and initiated AI-powered security projects.
