The initiative combines Inetum’s expertise with partner innovations and best practices, providing comprehensive support from concept to deployment.
Paris, France – Inetum, a prominent IT services company, officially announced the launch of its ‘Gen AI Factory’ on April 10, 2024. This strategic initiative is designed to solidify Inetum’s position in the rapidly evolving generative artificial intelligence landscape, with a primary goal of elevating the quality and productivity of services delivered to its diverse client base, particularly within the public, financial, and energy sectors.
The ‘Gen AI Factory’ represents a comprehensive offering that integrates the deep expertise of Inetum’s teams, cutting-edge innovations from its leading partners in generative AI—including Microsoft, IBM, and Google—and years of accumulated best practices in the field of artificial intelligence. This collaborative approach underscores Inetum’s commitment to harnessing the full potential of generative AI for its customers’ benefit.
The new service is structured around four key pillars to support clients throughout the entire GenAI project lifecycle, from initial conception to full-scale deployment:
1. Assimilation: Assisting teams in selecting the most appropriate generative AI models and technologies.
2. Qualification: Evaluating business challenges and their feasibility, facilitating the choice of technological solutions and architectures, and conducting profitability analyses to bring client projects to fruition.
3. Experimentation: Guiding clients through the use of demonstrators, prototypes, and minimum viable products (MVPs).
4. Scaling-up: Deploying generative AI solutions with the aid of accelerators and partner editors, alongside establishing proven training methodologies for employees.
Inetum’s investment in generative AI extends internally as well. The company has rolled out a training program titled ‘Do you speak Gen AI?’ aimed at upskilling its entire workforce of 28,000 employees in this domain. Furthermore, Inetum has developed ‘GenAI Playground,’ a secure generative AI platform based on GPT models, providing employees with a practical environment for prompt engineering and skill development, making it an integral part of their daily operations.
Cédric Fernandez, COO Solutions Global Business Line at Inetum, emphasized the synergistic nature of the new factory, stating, “Thanks to our Gen AI Factory, Inetum is able to merge skills from fields as varied as consulting, expertise, integration, support and maintenance. Inetum has developed real know-how with customers in the insurance and banking sectors, based on major use cases. Our GenAI solutions offer distinctive expertise for a variety of scenarios, including accessibility, the integration of chat agents for customers and employees, and the deployment of co-driver solutions.”
