Indian Consulate in Seattle Initiates Preparations for India AI Impact Summit 2026 with High-Profile Briefing

Seattle, US – November 8, 2025 – The Indian Consulate in Seattle successfully hosted a pivotal pre-event briefing session, a ‘curtain-raiser’ for the highly anticipated India AI Impact Summit 2026. This roundtable, held at the Consulate’s new Chancery premises, brought together key stakeholders including US Representatives Adam Smith and Michael Baumgartner, alongside leading technology CEOs and AI experts from the Greater Seattle area.

The session underscored India’s ambitious vision for Artificial Intelligence, built upon the ‘Three Sutras’ or pillars: People, Planet, and Progress. Discussions prominently featured the application of AI in Agri-Tech and explored the immense potential of data centers and digital infrastructure within India. Tech industry leaders delivered insightful presentations, highlighting these critical areas.

US Congressman Adam Smith, Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee, and Congressman Michael Baumgartner, a Member of the House Judiciary and Foreign Affairs Committees, were briefed on India’s significant advancements in AI. Participants also outlined the ‘Seven Chakras’ or themes identified for global cooperation in AI. These themes encompass: Safe and Trusted AI, Human Capital, Science, Resilience, Innovation and Efficiency, Inclusion and Social Empowerment, Democratizing AI Resources, and Economic Growth and Social Good.

In a post on X, the Consulate expressed its gratitude, stating, “India AI Impact Summit 2026: Pre-Event Briefing Session hosted in Seattle! Thank US Rep. Adam Smith and US Rep.
