HCLTech Strengthens Salesforce Partnership to Drive Enterprise Agentic AI Adoption

TLDR: HCLTech has expanded its strategic partnership with Salesforce, launching new orchestration consultation and implementation services. This collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI solutions across diverse sectors including financial services, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing, leveraging Salesforce’s Agentforce platform.

HCLTech, a leading global technology company, has announced a significant expansion of its strategic partnership with Salesforce, focusing on accelerating the enterprise adoption of agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. This deepened alliance sees HCLTech introducing new orchestration consultation and implementation services designed to help businesses integrate agentic AI using the Salesforce Agentforce platform.

The collaboration is poised to transform operations across key industries such as financial services, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing. HCLTech’s services will facilitate the creation of enterprise-grade agentic workflows, which are crucial for unifying task orchestration, reasoning, and action execution across complex systems. This initiative aims to streamline critical functions like marketing, sales, customer service, and operations, particularly in highly regulated environments.

To ensure seamless implementation and robust performance, HCLTech will leverage advanced protocols, including the Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). These protocols are designed to enhance coordination, task tracking, and visibility, leading to faster and more reliable outcomes for clients.

Sadagopan Singam, Executive Vice President and Global Head of SaaS and Commercial Application, Digital Business Services at HCLTech, emphasized the transformative potential, stating, “Salesforce Agentforce represents a transformational shift in how enterprise value is created. At HCLTech, we are not just enabling agent deployment, we are scaling business outcomes through intelligent, governed, and connected agent ecosystems.” Phil Samenuk, SVP of Global Alliances & Channels and Outsourcing Service Providers at Salesforce, added, “Organizations need a new labor model that unlocks the full potential of humans with AI at work. HCLTech is a critical partner for identifying and developing specific use cases with our joint customers across industries.”

This partnership builds upon HCLTech’s earlier selection by Salesforce for its Agentforce Partner Network in January 2025. A notable early success of this collaboration includes bringing agentic AI to PenFed Credit Union, America’s second-largest federal credit union, to enhance member engagement and operational efficiency. The goal is to transition enterprises from basic chatbots to sophisticated AI solutions capable of handling complex, multi-channel interactions.

The Salesforce collaboration is part of HCLTech’s broader strategic push into advanced technologies. The company recently signed a deal with AMD to develop AI, digital, and cloud-based solutions, and entered a long-term agreement with German energy firm E.ON to develop private cloud infrastructure and manage its cloud and network operations using HCLTech’s AI and automation tools. Additionally, HCLTech secured an engineering services contract with Volvo Group, further solidifying its position in the evolving tech landscape.
