TLDR: Boomi and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have entered a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) focused on advancing enterprise AI integration and accelerating SAP cloud migrations. Key initiatives include integrating Boomi’s Agent Control Tower with Amazon Bedrock for comprehensive AI agent governance and leveraging Boomi’s AI-driven automation capabilities to streamline digital transformation.
Boomi, a leader in AI-driven automation, has announced a significant multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This collaboration aims to empower customers in building, managing, monitoring, and governing generative artificial intelligence (AI) agents across their enterprise operations. A crucial aspect of this alliance is also to expedite the migration of SAP systems from on-premises environments to AWS cloud infrastructure.
The strategic partnership addresses the growing challenges faced by organizations in managing fragmented AI agents across diverse platforms, which often leads to security risks and operational inefficiencies. By integrating Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service for building and scaling generative AI applications, with the Boomi Agent Control Tower (part of Boomi Agentstudio), customers will gain a centralized solution for deploying, monitoring, and governing AI agents across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This integration promises comprehensive visibility, proactive monitoring, and control over both Boomi-authored and third-party AI agents, ensuring secure and scalable AI initiatives.
Boomi has also achieved the AWS Generative AI Competency, marking its fifth AWS Competency. This recognition underscores Boomi’s expertise in developing generative AI applications using AWS technologies such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q, and Amazon SageMaker. This achievement highlights Boomi’s commitment to leading the charge in AI-driven innovation.
Steve Lucas, Chairman and CEO at Boomi, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, “The future belongs to organizations that can intelligently connect everything and automate anything — and Boomi is THE platform that makes it happen.” He also noted that the company’s innovations are designed to empower customers to move faster, work smarter, and lead in an AI-first world. Matt McLarty, Boomi’s Chief Technology Officer, added that AI will augment human capabilities rather than replace them, positioning the Boomi platform as an accessible entry point for companies hesitant to adopt AI, offering a practical and intuitive way to experiment without significant investment.
