While specific industry verticals for these deals were not disclosed, CEO C Vijaykumar affirmed that generative AI is now an integral component of nearly all new engagements, underscoring its pervasive impact across the company’s operations and client solutions.
This strategic focus on AI comes amidst HCLTech’s Q4 FY25 financial performance, where the company reported a revenue of ₹30,246 crore, marking a 1.2% increase from the previous quarter. In USD terms, revenue stood at $3.4 billion, a slight decrease of 1.0% quarter-on-quarter. This collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of generative AI for large global enterprises by integrating OpenAI’s advanced models, including ChatGPT and various APIs, with HCLTech’s proprietary AI platforms such as AI Force and AI Foundry. The partnership is designed to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end AI solutions, spanning from readiness assessment and integration to enterprise-scale deployment, governance, and long-term management across diverse sectors like manufacturing, banking, retail, and healthcare. HCLTech also plans to deploy ChatGPT Enterprise and OpenAI APIs internally to enhance its own operations, including content generation, software development, and data analysis.
