Elastic N.V. (NYSE: ESTC), a leading Search AI company, has entered into a significant five-year strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This partnership, announced on May 28, 2025, highlights a shared commitment to accelerate organizations’ transition into AI-native enterprises through joint product integrations and go-to-market initiatives. The primary goal is to enable customers to develop generative AI-based applications more rapidly and with reduced complexity.
Building on a foundation of strong prior collaboration, Elastic and AWS are set to increase their investment in technical integrations. These integrations are specifically designed to help customers advance their AI innovation. The combined power of Elastic’s Search AI Platform and various AWS services will equip customers to build intelligent, scalable, and secure applications with unprecedented speed and flexibility.
A key component of this collaboration involves leveraging Generative AI features across Elastic solutions, utilizing high-performing foundation models available through Amazon Bedrock. Additionally, the agreement will support the migration of Elasticsearch workloads from on-premise data centers to Elastic Cloud on AWS, offering enhanced scalability and operational flexibility.
Through AWS Marketplace, customers will gain the ability to quickly deploy solutions that merge Elastic’s powerful search capabilities with Amazon Bedrock. This integration, hosted on AWS’s secure, global infrastructure, is expected to facilitate the creation of compliant, intelligent applications, thereby accelerating their AI adoption journey. The SCA further extends existing collaborations, with Elastic AI Assistant, Attack Discovery, Automatic Import, Automatic Migration, Automatic Troubleshoot, and AI Playground already integrating with Large Language Models via Amazon Bedrock.
This strategic agreement follows Elastic’s recent accolades within the AWS Partner Network, including being named the AWS Global Generative AI Infrastructure and Data Partner of the Year in December 2024. Elastic was also among the first 15 AWS software partners recognized at the launch of the AWS Generative AI Competency. Furthermore, AWS has acknowledged Elastic for its work in the public sector, granting it competency designations for both Government (February) and Education (May) sectors.
