TLDR: Bluwhale, a decentralized AI network, has successfully closed a $10 million Series A funding round. The investment, led by a global financial institution and prominent blockchain backers, aims to accelerate the integration of AI agents into blockchain technology for personalized financial services. The company also announced a Token Generation Event (TGE) for its native token, $BLUAI, on October 21, 2025.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – October 21, 2025 – Bluwhale, a pioneering decentralized AI network focused on deploying AI agents across various blockchains, today announced the successful closure of a $10 million Series A funding round. This significant investment was spearheaded by a global financial institution and supported by top-tier Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain investors, signaling a growing institutional interest in digital assets and the practical application of AI within blockchain ecosystems.

UOB Venture Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Overseas Bank (UOB), emerged as a major investor in this round. Existing investor SBI Holdings also reaffirmed its commitment, with additional support from key players across five of the top 100 blockchain ecosystems, including Sui, Tezos, Cardano, Arbitrum, and Movement Labs. New supporters joining the round include PAID Network, Sublime Ventures, High Cosmos Capital, CMY Ventures, DataSpike, NewHeritage, and senior AI leaders from Big Tech.

Han Jin, CEO of Bluwhale, emphasized the strategic importance of this funding, stating, “This round signals strong conviction from both Web2 and Web3 that AI agents will deliver financial services across chains. Institutional adoption is at an all-time high—from ETF exposure to stablecoin launches and collateralized lending—and we’re building the infrastructure that lets those capabilities meet consumers where they are.”

Bluwhale’s platform is designed with a consumer-first approach, combining a user’s financial health score with an AI agent marketplace. This marketplace enables enterprises and developers to launch tailored financial services, primarily targeting a financially savvy Gen Z audience. The platform currently serves over 3.6 million users globally, facilitating hundreds of AI agents in recommending assets and executing transactions both on-chain and off-chain. The underlying technology is Bluwhale’s Layer 3 network, which orchestrates data, storage, and compute resources to power these agents, ensuring a multi-chain infrastructure built for scalability and interoperability.

Further solidifying its market presence, Bluwhale announced its Token Generation Event (TGE) for $BLUAI, the native token of its decentralized AI network, scheduled for October 21, 2025. This event is expected to broaden participation beyond core infrastructure, fostering active, community-driven growth. Jin added, “Our backers—from major banks to leading blockchain players—share our belief that decentralized AI will transform financial services and more. We’re focused on secure, scalable AI that helps institutions accelerate digitization while meeting the expectations of digital-first generations.”
