TLDR: AirOps, a content engineering platform for AI search, has successfully closed a $40 million Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to $60 million. Led by Greylock, the investment will fuel the company’s expansion and platform development as brands adapt to a rapidly evolving AI-driven search landscape.
NEW YORK – November 10, 2025 – AirOps, the pioneering content engineering platform designed to help brands maintain visibility and trust in the burgeoning era of AI search, today announced the successful closure of its Series B funding round, securing $40 million. This latest investment, spearheaded by Greylock, elevates the company’s total funding to an impressive $60 million and values the company at $225 million.
The Series B round saw significant participation from a diverse group of investors including Unusual Ventures, Wing Venture Capital, XFund, Village Global VC, and Frontline VC. Additionally, over two dozen prominent growth and marketing leaders contributed, underscoring the platform’s critical role for the next generation of marketers.
AirOps, under the leadership of CEO Alex Halliday, is at the forefront of assisting brands like Ramp, Chime, Wiz, Carta, Klaviyo, Webflow, and Kayak in adapting their content strategies for an AI-first search environment. The platform enables marketing teams to measure content performance across both traditional SEO and emerging AI platforms, identify high-impact opportunities, and implement precise actions to generate accurate, on-brand, and authoritative content.
The funding arrives at a pivotal moment as the landscape of information discovery undergoes a profound transformation. With Google’s global search share reportedly falling below 90% for the first time since 2015, consumers are increasingly turning to AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini for direct answers, rather than navigating through traditional search engine results pages. This shift necessitates a new approach to content, moving beyond keywords and backlinks to prioritize deep, comprehensive content that addresses user queries not yet covered by AI models.
Nick Fairbairn, Vice President of Growth Marketing at Chime, lauded AirOps’ impact, stating, “AirOps proved its value fast. Within weeks of joining the beta, we tripled our AI search citations and built real momentum toward a more AI-driven growth strategy. It’s helping us experiment, move faster, and stay ahead of how people discover Chime.”

The company also plans to extend its market reach into Europe, further enhancing its platform to empower enterprises in navigating and succeeding in the evolving AI search landscape.
