TLDR: Workday has launched a new Custom AI Model Library for its Contract Intelligence Agent, powered by Evisort technology. This library features over 120 pre-built AI models designed to streamline contract reviews, identify risks, and extract critical information across various business functions without requiring coding expertise.
Workday, Inc. (NASDAQ: WDAY), a leading enterprise AI platform, has announced the introduction of its Custom AI Model Library for the Workday Contract Intelligence Agent. This significant development, powered by Evisort technology, aims to revolutionize contract analysis by offering more than 120 pre-built artificial intelligence models. These models are specifically trained to identify key clauses, potential risks, line items, and critical terms within a wide array of contract types.
The new library is designed to support various business functions, including HR, finance, legal, IT, and sales. It enables organizations to process and analyze employment agreements, vendor contracts, and sales deals with enhanced speed and accuracy. A key benefit highlighted by Workday is the ability for users to leverage these advanced capabilities without needing any coding skills.
The Workday Contract Intelligence Agent already assists legal and business teams in making informed decisions by reviewing contracts at scale, flagging risks, tracking obligations, and uncovering opportunities. With the integration of the Custom AI Model Library, customers can now automatically analyze an even broader spectrum of contract terms. This includes employment terms like non-compete clauses, financial details for invoice processing, data privacy and security terms, lease agreement specifications (such as square footage and maintenance obligations), and sales agreement components (like product services and renewal conditions).
Jerry Ting, vice president and head of agentic AI & Evisort at Workday, emphasized the strategic importance of this launch. “AI in the enterprise often delivers piecemeal automation without true transformation,” Ting stated. “We aren’t just adding features; we are giving our Contract Intelligence Agent new skills that help solve real business problems. Our goal is to make deep, complex contract analysis fast and actionable for every team.”
The models within the library can summarize complex terms into plain language, calculate financial information, and classify key contract elements, transforming intricate documents into actionable insights. While the models are pre-trained and ready for immediate deployment, customers also have the flexibility to refine them further by providing feedback, again, without any coding requirements.

This expansion of capabilities underscores Workday’s commitment to being an enterprise AI platform at the core of managing people, money, and agents.
