Wooclap Unveils Five AI-Powered Teaching Agents, Co-Developed with Educators

TLDR: Wooclap, the interactive learning platform, has launched five new AI-powered teaching agents designed in collaboration with educators from leading universities. These tools aim to automate time-consuming tasks for professors and enhance student engagement, marking a significant step in the company’s mission to make learning more effective.

Brussels, Belgium – October 13, 2025 – Wooclap, a global leader in interactive learning technology, has officially unveiled five innovative AI-powered teaching agents, developed through a unique co-design process with educators from prestigious institutions worldwide. This launch, announced on September 18, 2025, coincides with Wooclap’s 10th anniversary and follows a recent $29 million funding round, underscoring the company’s commitment to transforming educational experiences.

Unlike many AI tools developed in isolation, Wooclap’s new agents were meticulously crafted alongside professors from North Carolina State University, the University of Ottawa, Nanyang Technological University, the Complutense University of Madrid, Sciences Po Paris, and other esteemed institutions. This collaborative approach ensures the tools directly address real-world teaching challenges, aiming to save educators valuable time and foster richer student interaction.

The five new AI agents are seamlessly integrated into existing Wooclap question types, including Open Questions, Brainstorming, Multiple Choice, and Label an Image, fitting effortlessly into teachers’ current workflows. They are designed to automate repetitive tasks, thereby freeing up professors to engage more directly with their students.

Key AI Agents Introduced:

The Learning Consolidator: This agent builds personalized follow-up questions based on students’ multiple-choice answers, reinforcing knowledge and stimulating deeper discussions.

The Idea Generator: During brainstorming sessions, it proposes fresh inputs to maintain creative flow and assist students in overcoming initial hurdles.

The Summarizer: Capable of instantly synthesizing student contributions, it highlights key messages for further discussion and analysis.

The Image Labeler: This tool transforms static diagrams into interactive recall exercises by automatically generating markers and labels, making visual learning more dynamic.

The Answer Organizer: It efficiently clusters hundreds of open responses into clear, manageable themes, helping educators make sense of large volumes of qualitative data.

“In co-design workshops, educators asked for ways to spend less time preparing questions or processing answers. These agents were built to do just that—giving professors more time to engage directly with their students,” stated a Wooclap representative. The company emphasizes that these AI agents are not meant to replace educators but to empower them, enabling more effective and engaging learning environments for the 50 million learners who trust the platform worldwide.
