While low-code and no-code systems have expanded, the majority of software development still relies on human engineers. However, agentic AI is rapidly changing this dynamic. Real-world applications already demonstrate its potential; for instance, AWS reportedly saved 4,500 years of developer time by using AI agents to upgrade Java across its vast codebase.
