TLDR: South Korean satellite startup TelePIX has signed a $300,000 contract with a Polish satellite corporation to commercialize AI-driven CubeSat images in Europe. This marks the first time a domestic CubeSat has generated revenue from satellite imagery.
TelePIX, a South Korean satellite startup, has announced a significant stride in the global space industry by securing a $300,000 (approximately 416.5 million won) sales rights contract for its “BlueBond” CubeSat images in Europe. The agreement, signed on August 4, 2025, is with a satellite corporation based in Poland, a member country of the European Space Agency (ESA). This strategic partnership will enable the Polish corporation to distribute TelePIX’s satellite images across Europe through its existing solutions.
The “BlueBond” CubeSat, weighing only 15 kg (a 6U unit, where 1U is 10 cm in width, length, and height), is equipped with a multi-spectral camera developed by TelePIX. This advanced camera is capable of capturing images that can identify ground objects as small as 4.8 meters. A key technological differentiator for BlueBond is its integrated space-grade AI processor, “TetraFlex.”
This contract is not only a commercial breakthrough but also includes a subscription for TelePIX’s satellite image analysis AI agent, “SatChat,” offered as a Software as a Service (SaaS). This integration of AI for image analysis further enhances the value proposition of TelePIX’s offerings.

Jeon Seung-hwan, the head of TelePIX’s global business division, emphasized the importance of this commercialization, stating, “The fact that it will be commercially sold through Poland, a member country of the European Space Agency (ESA), is a result of being recognized for our technological capabilities in the international market.” He further added, “As a leading company in the K-space era, we will continue to take the lead in the global expansion of the domestic new space industry.” This milestone represents the world’s first instance of revenue generation from satellite images obtained through a domestic CubeSat.
