Tech Mahindra Introduces TechM Orion: A New Agentic AI Platform for Scalable Enterprise Transformation

TLDR: Tech Mahindra has launched TechM Orion, a next-generation agentic AI platform powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing. This platform aims to enable enterprises to adopt AI responsibly and efficiently, focusing on rapid AI agent development, governance, transparency, and tangible business outcomes. It supports cloud, on-premise, and hybrid deployments, integrating with existing systems and third-party tools.

PUNE, India – July 24, 2025 – Tech Mahindra (NSE: TECHM), a prominent global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions, today announced the unveiling of TechM Orion, an advanced agentic AI platform. This new offering is designed to facilitate responsible and scalable enterprise transformation through artificial intelligence, leveraging NVIDIA accelerated computing and the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite.

TechM Orion is built upon a robust foundation, utilizing NVIDIA NIM, NVIDIA NeMo, and NVIDIA RAPIDS to ensure efficient AI inference, model training, and customization. The platform offers flexible deployment options, including cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, allowing seamless integration with clients’ existing systems and third-party tools. This approach maximizes current AI investments and supports scalable growth, emphasizing governance, transparency, and the delivery of measurable business outcomes.

Nikhil Malhotra, Chief Innovation Officer at Tech Mahindra, highlighted the platform’s strategic importance, stating, “As enterprises race to embed AI into core operations, it is not enough to just democratize AI agent development. Enterprises are currently looking for ROI, assurance and a clear path to transform their business processes. Combined with NVIDIA’s unparalleled AI infrastructure and enterprise AI stack, TechM Orion empowers organizations to move from experimentation to transformation.”

The platform is engineered to significantly boost productivity and accelerate innovation, enabling global enterprises to deploy AI solutions more rapidly in both assisted and fully autonomous settings. A key feature is its C2A (Chat-to-Agent) interface, which allows AI agents to be built and deployed in under one week, a substantial improvement over traditional timelines of two to three weeks. TechM Orion also integrates AI agents from various SaaS platforms, streamlining orchestration and enhancing scalability with embedded assurance guardrails.

John Fanelli, Vice President, Enterprise Software Products at NVIDIA, commented on the collaboration, saying, “Agentic AI is redefining how work gets done—enabling software to perceive, reason and act across complex tasks. Tech Mahindra’s Orion platform, built on the NVIDIA AI software stack, brings this vision to life by helping organizations deploy intelligent agents that manage multi-step workflows, advancing adoption across industries and improving operational efficiency.”

TechM Orion is a direct implementation of this strategy, embedding AI capabilities into the core of Tech Mahindra’s operations. The platform is slated for commercial availability in Q3 2025, with early access programs for select clients commencing in August.
