Skyflow Introduces Advanced Data Security for AI-Driven Enterprises and SaaS Platforms

TLDR: Skyflow has launched its new Model Context Protocol (MCP) Data Security solutions, designed to enable enterprises and SaaS companies to securely deploy AI agents while protecting sensitive data. This offering builds on Skyflow’s existing AI security roadmap, addressing the critical challenge of maintaining data privacy and compliance as AI adoption grows.

Palo Alto, California – August 1, 2025 – Skyflow, a leader in data privacy and security, today announced the release of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Data Security solutions, specifically tailored for enterprises and SaaS companies leveraging artificial intelligence. This innovative offering aims to bridge the gap between AI’s powerful capabilities and the stringent requirements for sensitive data protection and regulatory compliance.

The proliferation of AI agents and large language models (LLMs) has introduced new complexities in data security. While the MCP standard, supported by major players like Anthropic, OpenAI, AWS, and Google, streamlines how AI agents connect to real-world tools and data, it also creates a new frontier for risk, particularly concerning the flow of sensitive information such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), and financial records. Skyflow’s MCP Data Protection Layer directly addresses this challenge, allowing for secure AI deployment without compromising functionality.

Unlike traditional Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools that primarily block data, Skyflow employs an intelligent approach that includes use case-aware redaction and de-identification, entity-preserving transformations for agent reasoning, and contextual rehydration for authorized users. The solution also incorporates secure memory handling to prevent the retention of PII by AI systems. This intelligent data handling ensures that sensitive information is protected throughout the AI workflow, from data ingestion to agent interaction.

Anshu Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO of Skyflow, emphasized the importance of this development, stating, “Skyflow helps developers and SaaS platforms protect sensitive data without slowing down AI workflows—making secure, compliant AI deployment possible at scale.” He highlighted that the company’s mission has always been to ensure that personal data entrusted to companies never results in a data breach, or that any breach is mitigated to prevent the leakage of real personal information. With the advent of AI, this problem has become significantly more complex, making Skyflow’s solutions even more critical.

This announcement extends Skyflow’s ongoing commitment to AI security, building upon previous launches such as the Agentic AI Security and Privacy Layer introduced last year, and the GPT Privacy Vault in 2023. Enterprises and SaaS companies across diverse sectors including retail, financial services, healthcare, travel, and hospitality can now deploy Skyflow’s MCP protection to enable their AI agents with secure access to sensitive data while adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
