Hyderabad/New Delhi, September 22, 2025 – The highly anticipated second edition of the 12-week Orientation Course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Medical Professionals has successfully wrapped up. The program, a collaborative effort by the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), iHub-Data, and the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT Hyderabad), culminated in a day-long offline session held simultaneously in Delhi and Hyderabad.
Launched on June 15, 2025, the comprehensive 12-week course was meticulously designed to familiarize medical professionals with the core principles and diverse applications of AI within the healthcare sector. The curriculum encompassed a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, delivered through a sophisticated Learning Management Platform. Participants benefited from pre-recorded lectures, interactive weekly live sessions, in-depth tutorials on Data Analytics, and hands-on demonstrations of AI model development utilizing no-code platforms.

Highlighting the global interest and the critical need for AI literacy in medicine, the program attracted a diverse cohort of 110 participants. These professionals, representing an equal number of men and women, hailed from various countries including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Romania, Cambodia, and the United Arab Emirates. The successful conclusion of this course underscores the growing recognition of AI’s transformative potential in enhancing patient care, diagnostics, and medical research worldwide. The initiative by NAMS, iHub-Data, and IIIT Hyderabad is a significant step towards integrating advanced technological capabilities into the medical fraternity.
