Samsung has introduced its latest AI-powered personal computing device, the Galaxy Book4 Edge, to the Indian market. Launched on July 31, 2025, this new laptop is designed to expand Samsung’s AI offerings, integrating advanced on-device AI features and Microsoft’s Copilot+ capabilities. The device is priced at ₹64,990, with a special launch offer providing a ₹5,000 cashback on select bank cards, bringing the effective price down to ₹59,990. It is available for purchase through Samsung’s official website, Flipkart, the Samsung Shop App, Samsung Experience Stores, and authorized retail outlets across India.
At the heart of the Galaxy Book4 Edge is the Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor, which boasts a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of delivering up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS) for efficient on-device AI tasks. The laptop also includes Qualcomm’s Adreno GPU, enhancing its graphical capabilities. Key AI functionalities include Microsoft Copilot+ tools such as Recall, Live Translate, and Cocreator, which allows users to transform sketches and text prompts into images. Additionally, Windows Studio Effects are integrated, offering features like voice focus, background blur, and eye contact correction for improved video calls.
Beyond Microsoft’s AI suite, the Galaxy Book4 Edge is a core component of Samsung’s Galaxy AI ecosystem. It enables seamless connectivity and productivity across Galaxy smartphones and PCs through features like Link to Windows, Multi Control, and Second Screen, allowing users to mirror smartphone screens, manage devices, and operate both with a single keyboard and mouse. Galaxy AI functionalities such as Chat Assist and Live Translate are also accessible directly on the PC.
The Galaxy Book4 Edge comes in a 15-inch variant, featuring a Full HD (1920×1080) IPS anti-glare display with 300 nits brightness and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of eUFS storage. For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth v5.4. The device includes a 2MP HD camera, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a dual array digital microphone. Port options include HDMI 2.1, one USB 3.2, two USB 4.0 ports, a microSD card reader, and a headphone/mic combo jack.

Powering the device is a 61.2 Wh battery, which Samsung claims can deliver up to 27 hours of battery life on a single charge, supported by a 65W USB Type-C adapter. The laptop runs on Windows 11 Home and incorporates robust security features, including Samsung Knox for hardware-level and real-time threat monitoring, and Microsoft Secured-core PC protections, offering firmware protection and on-device data management with features like Recall, where users can control or delete stored data directly. The chassis is slim and lightweight, weighing 1.55 kg, and is constructed using recycled materials such as plastic, glass, and aluminum, available in an Arctic Blue (Sapphire Blue) color.
