Seoul, South Korea – September 22, 2025 – Samsung SDS, a leading IT services provider, today announced its plan to deploy an advanced AI-powered simultaneous interpretation service at the prestigious Pacific Insurance Conference (PIC), set to commence tomorrow, September 23, in Seoul. The conference, recognized as the largest insurance industry event in the Asia-Pacific region, will host approximately 80 companies, benefiting from Samsung SDS’s innovative technology.
The service will be delivered through Samsung SDS’s generative AI-based collaboration solution, Brity Copilot. This platform is designed to provide real-time interpretation in four key languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, ensuring seamless communication for a diverse international audience. Conference participants will have the convenience of selecting their preferred language channel via wireless receivers, enabling them to listen to the AI-generated interpretation instantaneously.
This deployment is particularly significant as it represents the inaugural application of Brity Copilot’s interpreting agent function at a major international gathering. The interpreting agent currently supports real-time translation in seven languages, with plans for further expansion to 17 languages by November, demonstrating Samsung SDS’s commitment to enhancing global communication capabilities.
Song Hae-goo, Executive Vice President at Samsung SDS, emphasized the proven quality and strategic importance of the service. “Samsung SDS’s interpretation service has proven its quality at international events and will help companies work more effectively with overseas partners,” said Song Hae-goo. He further added, “We aim to drive workplace innovation and lead the market through the rollout of personal agents.” This initiative aligns with Samsung SDS’s broader ‘full-stack’ AI strategy, which aims to offer comprehensive AI solutions from infrastructure to consulting, platforms, and various AI agents for corporate innovation.
