Samsung Introduces Vision AI Companion: Transforming 2025 TVs into Intelligent Conversational Hubs

TLDR: Samsung has officially unveiled Vision AI Companion (VAC), an advanced generative AI platform integrated across its entire 2025 television lineup. This innovation transforms TVs into interactive, conversational hubs, powered by an enhanced Bixby and incorporating multi-AI agents like Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity AI. It offers seamless two-way dialogue, personalized recommendations, real-time translation, and optimized entertainment experiences, aiming to redefine the smart home ecosystem.

Rabat – Samsung has announced a significant leap in home entertainment with the introduction of its Vision AI Companion (VAC), a generative AI platform set to be integrated into the company’s entire 2025 television and smart monitor lineup. Unveiled on November 11, 2025, the VAC aims to transform these devices into intelligent, conversational hubs capable of engaging with users in a highly personalized and contextual manner.

At the core of the Vision AI Companion is an enhanced version of Samsung’s virtual assistant, Bixby. This upgraded Bixby is designed for more natural, two-way conversations, moving beyond simple commands to understand follow-up questions and context. Samsung positions this as the world’s first multi-AI agent TV platform, integrating advanced AI models such as Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity AI. This multi-agent approach allows the system to deliver sophisticated and intelligent responses to complex queries.

Users can interact with the Vision AI Companion through a simple voice command or by pressing a dedicated AI button on the TV remote, eliminating the need to navigate through menus or type commands. Unlike traditional personal assistants, the VAC is specifically designed to facilitate shared TV viewing activities and promote family bonding. For instance, families can research trivia during movie nights, search for dinner recipes, or ask for travel suggestions, all while continuing to watch their program without interruption.

The platform’s capabilities extend beyond conversational queries. It includes features like Live Translate, which provides real-time on-screen translation of dialogue, breaking down language barriers for global audiences. For gamers, the AI Gaming Mode automatically optimizes picture and sound settings for an enhanced experience. Creative features such as Generative Wallpaper allow the TV to create dynamic visuals that adapt to the user’s mood or preferences. Additionally, AI Picture, AVA Pro, and AI Upscaling Pro work in tandem to automatically optimize picture and audio quality, ensuring an exceptional viewing experience.

The Vision AI Companion will be available across Samsung’s full 2025 display product lineup, including premium Neo QLED, OLED, and QLED step-up TVs, as well as Smart Monitors and The Movingstyle displays. The platform is built on One UI Tizen and comes with a commitment of seven years of OS upgrades, ensuring long-term security and feature enhancements. It supports 10 languages, including Korean, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese, highlighting Samsung’s global ambition for this technology.
