Qualys Revolutionizes Cybersecurity with Agentic AI-Powered Risk Operations Center

TLDR: Qualys has launched the industry’s first Agentic AI-powered Risk Operations Center, offering autonomous risk management. This new platform introduces a marketplace of Cyber Risk AI Agents that automate every step of cyber risk operations, aiming to significantly improve risk posture and reduce operational costs. The technology is embedded within Qualys’ Enterprise TruRisk Management platform and is designed to address the increasing volume and sophistication of cyber threats by providing real-time insights and autonomous remediation.

Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a prominent provider of cloud-based IT, security, and compliance solutions, has unveiled groundbreaking Agentic AI capabilities on its platform, introducing the industry’s first Agentic AI-powered Risk Operations Center (ROC). This innovative approach is set to transform cyber risk management by offering a marketplace of Cyber Risk AI Agents designed to autonomously drive every step of cyber risk operations, thereby dramatically improving an organization’s risk posture and significantly reducing operational costs.

The new AI fabric delivers real-time risk insights across all attack surfaces, prioritizing threats based on their business impact. It aims to reduce risk and operational costs by autonomously remediating vulnerabilities with speed, scale, and accuracy, fostering a smarter and more efficient ROC.

The Agentic AI capabilities are embedded within Qualys’ Enterprise TruRisk Management (ETM) platform, enhancing its ability to quantify, communicate, and reduce cyber risk in business terms. Key features include continuous risk insights and prioritization, adaptive remediation capabilities, and a unique “Build Your Own AI Agent” functionality.

Amidst a surge in the volume and sophistication of cyber threats and the growing complexity of an ever-evolving attack surface, security teams often grapple with millions of exposures without the necessary context to map them against business priorities. Qualys addresses this challenge by eliminating repetitive tasks and enabling autonomous, risk-focused workflows that empower teams and accelerate protection.

Tyler Shields, principal analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG), commented on the significance of this development, stating, “Cybersecurity has never been able to keep pace with the volume of enterprise exposures due to human-scale prioritization and remediation.” He added, “Integrating Agentic AI into the Qualys platform marks a major leap—from reactive response to real-time risk reduction. With autonomous remediation and intelligent prioritization, this type of innovation enables faster risk reduction, more efficient resource usage, and greater accuracy in recommended actions.”

The Agentic AI platform is designed to automate threat prioritization and remediation strategies, alleviating manual workloads and fostering a more agile ROC. The specialized Cyber Risk Agents operate autonomously, acting as a digital workforce to surface, prioritize, and remediate risks at the speed of detection.
