Porsche Consulting and Manager Magazin Launch AI Impact Award 2026 to Recognize Practical AI Implementations

TLDR: Porsche Consulting and manager magazin have announced the AI Impact Award 2026, a new initiative to honor companies in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) that demonstrate successful and impactful applications of Artificial Intelligence. The award, set to be presented for the first time in spring 2026, aims to highlight AI’s tangible value in business and society, fostering knowledge exchange and recognizing real-world solutions that drive business value.

Porsche Consulting, a leading German management consultancy, and manager magazin, a prominent business publication, have jointly launched the AI Impact Award 2026. This new accolade is designed to celebrate and acknowledge companies within the DACH region (German-speaking countries) that have effectively integrated and utilized Artificial Intelligence in their practical operations. The inaugural awards ceremony is scheduled for spring 2026.

The primary objective of the AI Impact Award is to underscore the significant value that AI brings to both business and society, while simultaneously encouraging a broader exchange of knowledge and best practices in the field. The award will specifically recognize real-world AI solutions that have demonstrably contributed to business value creation.

Eberhard Weiblen, CEO of Porsche Consulting, articulated the motivation behind the new award, stating, “Artificial Intelligence is a key driver of innovation – but its true value only becomes clear in practical application. The AI Impact Award is designed to make this transfer into practice visible.” This emphasizes the focus on practical, impactful AI deployments rather than theoretical concepts.

Simone Salden, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of manager magazin, further elaborated on the philosophy, adding, “The true strength of AI lies not only in the technology itself, but in its interaction with people who use it wisely and responsibly.” She also noted, “The AI Impact Award aims to create visibility: for the real effects – and for the teams that make them possible.” This highlights the human element in successful AI implementation and the recognition of the teams driving these innovations.

Finalists will be celebrated at a festive awards ceremony in spring 2026, providing a platform for these pioneers in Artificial Intelligence to showcase their achievements to a professional audience and the wider public. Porsche Consulting GmbH, with its 900 employees worldwide, is noted for its leadership in the practical application of AI.
