The collaboration, announced on Thursday, November 13, 2025, will make ChatGPT features accessible directly within the PhonePe consumer app, the PhonePe for Business app, and the Indus Appstore, marking one of the first large-scale efforts to embed advanced AI within a mainstream Indian consumer platform.
The integration is designed to provide AI-powered assistance for a diverse range of everyday user needs, from planning travel itineraries and optimizing shopping experiences to facilitating general information discovery. This is expected to significantly enhance the user experience by offering ‘smarter and relevant’ information, as stated in an official press release.
