Dr. Somaraju will be based in Melbourne, Australia, and will collaborate closely with Charter Global’s global engineering and client delivery teams, reflecting the company’s international operational scope.
Dr. Somaraju’s responsibilities will encompass overseeing Orcaworks’ approach to evaluation-driven AI deployment, ensuring robust decision tracing, and delivering measurable outcomes in complex enterprise environments. His expertise is expected to enhance the company’s capacity to support reliable AI systems.
Prior to joining Orcaworks, Dr. Somaraju served as a machine learning strategist at Cisco and was a co-founder of Greenlake Medical. He brings over two decades of experience in systems engineering, with more than eight years dedicated to delivering production-class AI and machine learning systems across diverse sectors including healthcare, security, and IoT. He holds a doctorate in Engineering and has a notable portfolio of publications in both industry and academic venues.
