In a significant move to bolster artificial intelligence capabilities within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, Orange Business, in collaboration with NVIDIA, LightOn, and Edarat Group, has officially launched ‘Live Intelligence,’ a new sovereign Generative AI platform. This partnership, announced on October 14, 2025, during GITEX 2025, is set to deliver a trusted, end-to-end AI ecosystem tailored to meet the unique strategic, regulatory, and operational demands of the GCC.
The ‘Live Intelligence’ platform is engineered to empower governments and organizations of all sizes across the GCC with advanced AI functionalities, ensuring data sovereignty and security. Orange Business takes the lead in managing the platform’s deployment, integration, and ongoing support, leveraging its extensive experience, including the internal development and use of Live Intelligence by over 90,000 of its employees to enhance operations and efficiency.
NVIDIA plays a pivotal role by providing the accelerated computing power that forms the high-performance computing foundation essential for generative AI at scale. This infrastructure is critical for handling the intensive computational demands of advanced AI models.
LightOn, recognized as a European leader in Sovereign Generative AI, contributes its cutting-edge AI technology, featuring multimodal capabilities. This ensures that organizations can access high-performance AI tools while maintaining complete control over their sensitive data, a key aspect of the platform’s ‘sovereign’ designation.
Edarat Group, a prominent regional cloud provider, supplies the sovereign cloud infrastructure services. By offering on-demand GPU access and hosting the cloud infrastructure within regional borders, currently in KSA, Edarat Group guarantees that AI applications can run securely and compliantly within the GCC.
