Omnissa Unveils Advanced AI Capabilities to Drive Autonomous Digital Workspaces

TLDR: Omnissa announced significant AI innovations at Omnissa ONE 2025, including the AI-powered Omni assistant and a new AI agentic service. These advancements are designed to propel organizations towards truly autonomous workspaces that are self-configuring, self-healing, and self-securing, all while emphasizing trust and transparency within its four-stage AI framework.

LAS VEGAS, NV – September 16, 2025 – Omnissa, a prominent digital work platform company, today unveiled a new suite of artificial intelligence innovations at its Omnissa ONE 2025 event. These groundbreaking developments, including the AI-powered Omni assistant and the Omnissa AI agentic service, are set to redefine digital workspaces by moving closer to a vision of complete autonomy.

The core of these announcements is Omnissa’s commitment to its established four-stage AI framework for trusted AI adoption: Alert, Advise, Assist, and Autonomy. The company emphasizes that trust and transparency are paramount to its AI-driven strategy.

Bharath Rangarajan, senior vice president of products and technology alliances at Omnissa, articulated the company’s philosophy: “Artificial intelligence isn’t just about automation, it’s about achieving aligned, relevant, and trusted outcomes that empower people to do their best work. With the launch of our Omni assistant and our new agentic service powering next-gen use cases, we’re taking a pivotal step toward helping IT teams reduce workloads, automate routine tasks, and resolve issues faster. We’re integrating AI core capabilities deep within the Omnissa platform without losing sight of our goal to deliver a human-centric experience for both IT teams and employees.”

The new Omni assistant, operating within the ‘Assist’ stage of the AI framework, will be embedded across the Omnissa platform. It leverages generative AI to facilitate natural language interactions, simplifying how IT teams and employees access data insights, conduct knowledge searches, and create scripts. This conversational, in-context, and real-time guidance is expected to accelerate problem resolution and significantly reduce manual effort.

Further advancing towards the ‘Autonomy’ stage, Omnissa introduced its AI agentic service. This service empowers IT teams to develop and utilize transformative, agentic workflows directly within the platform. These intelligent workflows are designed to interpret platform signals, translate them into actionable steps, and orchestrate complex, end-to-end tasks. A forthcoming beta use case will demonstrate an agentic vulnerability defense workflow, highlighting AI’s potential to enhance security responses and mitigate risks.

Omnissa has a history of AI innovation, dating back to its first AI/ML-powered intelligence capabilities in 2017. The company’s platform already unifies secure unified endpoint management, virtual desktops and apps, digital employee experience, and security solutions. These core services are now being further enhanced with AI to deliver adaptive security and hyper-automation at scale.

Recognizing the critical importance of trust in AI adoption, Omnissa is implementing measures to provide organizations with visibility and control. This includes complete opt-out controls for AI features that may not align with their policies and centralized ‘nutrition labels’ that detail the models and data used for these features.
