Omada Unveils AI-Powered Marketing Solution for Small and Medium Businesses

TLDR: Omada, a new Seattle-based startup founded by serial entrepreneur Pete Christothoulou, has officially launched an ‘AI marketing team’ designed to automate digital marketing tasks for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The platform utilizes coordinated AI agents to handle planning, creation, and optimization of marketing campaigns for less than $9 per day.

Seattle, WA – October 21, 2025 – Omada, a new startup spearheaded by seasoned tech entrepreneur Pete Christothoulou, has officially emerged from stealth, introducing an innovative ‘AI marketing team’ tailored specifically for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The company aims to alleviate the burden of day-to-day digital marketing tasks for business owners by offering a comprehensive, automated solution.

Founded earlier this year by Christothoulou, who previously co-founded Marchex and Xembly, Omada.ai distinguishes itself by moving beyond single marketing ‘copilots’ or dashboards. Instead, its platform employs a sophisticated architecture of coordinated AI agents. These agents function as a virtual marketing team, encompassing roles such as a marketing assistant, social media manager, designer, and video producer, all collaborating to execute marketing strategies. Users interact with the system through a straightforward chat interface, allowing the AI team to manage tasks like content posting, ad campaign execution, customer response, and performance tracking.

The startup’s unique ‘do-it-for-me’ model contrasts with traditional ‘do-it-yourself’ marketing tools, promising to deliver capabilities and marketing expertise previously inaccessible to small business owners. Omada’s agents are built on proprietary infrastructure that integrates specialized AI models for language, vision, and audio tasks. The system is designed to learn each business’s specific tone and goals over time, continuously optimizing campaigns for improved results.

Omada has secured backing from notable investors including Crosslink Capital, HubSpot Ventures, and Seattle-based firm Ascend. The company asserts that its platform can plan, create, and optimize marketing campaigns automatically for an affordable rate of less than $9 per day.

Adam Coccari, managing director at HubSpot Ventures, lauded Omada’s approach, stating, “Their agent-based architecture delivers a truly autonomous and proactive system that gives small business owners the access to capabilities and marketing expertise they’ve never had access to before.”

Christothoulou’s latest venture builds on his extensive experience in applying automation and data intelligence to the marketing sector. He previously led Marchex, an advertising analytics company that went public in 2004, pioneering digital call tracking. His subsequent startup, Xembly, developed an “AI chief of staff” for productivity automation.

Omada’s co-founding team also includes Siva Muthukumarasamy, a long-time engineering leader and former CTO at Peel Technologies, and Andrew Miller, a veteran marketing executive who served as head of user acquisition at Xembly. The launch of Omada comes at a time when larger companies like HubSpot, Canva, and Adobe are also integrating AI marketing tools into their offerings for small businesses, highlighting a growing trend in the industry.
