TLDR: Nota AI successfully showcased its cutting-edge generative AI-based traffic solutions at the ITS World Congress 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia. The company demonstrated its intelligent incident detection system and AI-powered traffic management solutions, highlighting collaborations with Sony and achieving 100% accuracy in a U.S. PoC. This participation underscores Nota AI’s commitment to leading smart city traffic management and expanding its global market presence, including recent commercialization in the Middle East.
SEOUL, South Korea – August 29, 2025 – Nota AI, a specialist in AI model compression and optimization, has announced the successful conclusion of its participation at the ITS World Congress 2025 (ITSWC 2025), held in Atlanta, Georgia, from August 24 to 28. The event, recognized as the world’s largest gathering for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), attracted over 15,000 attendees and more than 200 companies globally.
At the Congress, Nota AI operated joint booths at the Korea Pavilion, hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), and the LG CNS booth, alongside showcasing results from its collaboration with Sony. The company emphasized the global competitiveness of its generative AI-based ITS technologies, powered by its proprietary Vision-Language Model (VLM).
At the Korea Pavilion, Nota AI unveiled its generative AI-based intelligent incident detection system. This independently developed technology leverages a VLM to detect various hazardous situations in real-time, including traffic accidents, fires, and road obstacles. The system’s advanced capabilities extend to analyzing correlations between events, effectively minimizing unnecessary alarms and positioning it as a next-generation control technology that garnered significant visitor attention.
Within the LG CNS booth, Nota AI presented its AI-powered intelligent traffic management solutions. These solutions analyze the movement of critical objects such as vehicles and pedestrians on roads and in ports, enabling rapid alerts during emergencies. The system is designed to enhance operational efficiency and safety, facilitating real-time communication with various agents through V2X communication.
A key highlight was the successful Proof of Concept (PoC) conducted in Lakewood, U.S., in collaboration with Sony. This initiative involved applying pedestrian safety management and traffic analysis technologies in an area prone to jaywalking accidents. By integrating Nota AI’s optimization technology with Sony’s IMX500 smart image sensor, the verification process achieved an impressive 100% accuracy.
Myungsu Chae, CEO of Nota AI, stated, “ITS World Congress 2025 was a pivotal opportunity to demonstrate the global competitiveness of our generative AI-based ITS solutions, built on both domestic and international partnerships. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen our global presence and lead the future of smart city traffic management and mobility innovation.”
