NongHyup Bank successfully hosted the finals and awards ceremony for its ‘NH AI Idea Challenge’ on November 11, 2025, at the bank’s headquarters. This competition was designed as a platform to explore future financial innovation in the era of artificial intelligence by integrating AI technology with the imaginative concepts of young individuals.
The challenge, which commenced in August, saw an enthusiastic response with a total of 266 teams participating over three months. Following rigorous document screening and mentorship from industry experts, 12 teams earned their spot in the final round.
During the finals, participants showcased a diverse range of practical and innovative ideas. These included solutions for AI-driven customer asset management, specialized financial services for seniors, and highly personalized customer experiences. The creativity and feasibility of the proposals were highly praised by the judges.
The grand prize was awarded to the ‘HuMakeThis’ team for their ‘NH Challender’ concept, which ingeniously links calendars with financial planning to offer customized challenge ideas. The ‘Seogang Ttokttok’ team secured the 최우수상 (Top Excellence Award) for ‘NH Ttokttok Donghaeng,’ a comprehensive consultation management service designed for both customers and bank employees. The 우수상 (Excellence Award) went to the ‘Dr. Drag’ team for ‘dRAG,’ an AI-powered personalized financial marketing tool utilizing tailored messages and chatbots.
In total, 12 teams received awards, with prize money amounting to 23 million won, including 10 million won for the grand prize winner and 5 million won for the top excellence awardee. NH NongHyup Bank’s mentors, who supported the teams throughout their development, also attended the ceremony, adding to its significance.
